Katana'k was quiet for a while, trying to at least be silent while she tried to think. If only he had met her before her intervention with mortals she may have been better off then she was now. She was upset, that was obvious, though his realm did not allow him to take away any pain she was feeling right now unfortunately, he didn't like it when others became upset in his presence.
"You won't leave them..." he finally said, looking towards her, trying to get some pride visible in her, "Even if you leave, if they love you as you seem to love them, you will never leave them, their heart, or their soul, you'll always be there...besides...you could come back to see how they're doing if you so wished..."
He really didn't know what else to say besides that.

It was not going to be so easy to get Mtima's pride back. She needed to get away, and live simply for who she really was- she needed to get back to her domain, and find joy and pride in that. She no longer felt so pleased with herself for being a goddess, and that had to change since being a goddess wasn't going to change any time soon.
"You're right," she agreed, though somewhat reluctantly. The mere mention of their souls seemed to brighten her up a bit, their souls were not something she could ever forget, even long after their bodies were gone. Slowly, the goddess stretched out her feet and stood right up, looking at Katana'k hopefully.
"Will you help me?" she asked, a hint of desperation in her voice, "Come with me to tell Kizamaji that I am leaving. You don't have to reveal yourself, but I- I have to go through with it."

Katana'k offered her a smile, it seemed to be getting easier. When she asked if he would go with him, he flicked his tail in thought, his brother might get too far away if he stayed too long, but the look upon her maw made him push it aside. Settling the score with his brother could wait until another day he supposed, besides, perhaps he could find a clue while he stayed here for a little while longer.
Her voice made him dismiss any thoughts of leaving, and he nodded, "I'll go with you if you wish, I think it'd be best if I did stay hidden...if you said you were leaving, and this Kizamaji saw me, they might get the wrong idea..." he said with a slight chuckle. Last thing he needed was for someone to think he was trying to steal her away.

Mtima sighed gratefully when he agreed to go, and even put on a small (though somewhat sad) smile at the idea that Kiza might get the wrong idea. She was not sure Kiza was the jealous type, but it would probably be best not to let on she'd needed help in making her decision. Any arguing was bad enough without having that she put trust in a strange thrown back at her.
"Thank you," she murmured, and offered a respectful nod. Her wings reappeared on her back, folded neatly, "I don't believe we properly introduced outselves. I am Mtima'safi, goddess of souls." She forced herself to lift her head up as she introduced herself, and a small glimmer of pride returned. Forced or not, it was there.

"Your quite welcome my dear.." when she spoke her name he smiled, "I mean, Mtima'safi," he smiled and noticed the wings that appeared on eh back now. He smiled, as she raised her head he felt a sense of pride in ehr know, easily felt now.
That was good.
"I am Katana'k, God of Pride..." he bowed his head to her, then raised it once again. His longer fangs sometimes gave him an intimidating appearance, but, they were there, what more could he do? "Where to now, Mtima, if I may call you that of course..." he said with a smile.
Had he just made a friend?
That'd be nice.

Katana'k had listened to her, helped her make a decision- and though she felt as if she was about to be sick, she did feel a bit better. She took a deep breath, trying to work up the courage to go on.
"This way," she said, and lead the way towards the den where her family stayed.
