Rigelk I like Salvadore and have met him at a convention. He's pretty cool. Yes, I'm sure he is. And I think he would just love how you misspelled his name.

Leavaros I believe that there are *many* more books than that.... Hold on, let me check.... Salvatore's BooksIn Drizzt's corner (meaning the Icewind Dale world): The Legend of Drizzt (series including Drizzt and Companyand The Dark Elf Trilogy) The Icewind Dale Trilogy Paths of Darkness (series of four books) The Hunter's Blades (trilogy) The Sellswords Series (trilogy) The Cleric Quintet War of the Spider Queen (trilogy) I could be off, but that in itself is well over 30 books. Then, the Demon War Series: The Demon War Series (trilogy) The Demon Wars Series 2 (trilogy) Corona (prelude to Demon War) Then his misc. books (don't even ask): Star Wars The Crimson Shadow (quartet) Ynis Aielle (trilogy) Spearwielders Tale (trilogy) Tales from Tethedril Realms of Valor The Best of the Realms Realms of Magic Dragons: Worlds Afire (H) Otherwere: Stories of Transformation The Accursed Tower: Adventure (AD&D) Tarzan: The Epic Adventures Demon, YOU add up his books. -LD Drizzt also isn't in the War of the Spider Queen series... Salvatore didn't even write any of those books. Its kind of like an "R.A. Salvatore Presents:" situation. He took the "up & coming" authors in the genre & brought 'em together to write the series. Each book is written by a different author. Also, its also not a Trilogy

I've only read the three Sellswords books so far, but based on his writing style and how easily I became obsessed with those characters and their adventures, I'd say he's an amazing author and I really look forward to reading more from him. 3nodding

He's alright, I've read his stuff. When I first started reading his books about 2 years ago, I thought they were brilliant. Now I consider his work to be more just quick and fun reads for when you don't want to think too much.
Also, after RPing for a long time you get sick of the 5 million Drizzt rip-offs, but that is neither here nor there.

Whatever. His style is okay for ONE trilogy, and then the characters become stagnant, redundant, and, put bluntly, boring. -LD

I feel the exact same way about Anne Rice, Stephen King & Clive Barker... No wait, none of them are ok. They're always stagnant, redundant & boring
