Her reaction to him was strange. Man, this mare was definitely a hard one ot figure out. Her facial expressions were stranger by the second...and they changed quite often. Or did they? Did they changed because he made her sad, or because he made her happy? And then yet another frown appeared, ruining her beauty. That made the dark stallion even sadder. How could he let this happen. Sighing softly, Bliss only shrugged.
"I'm sorry. I just made you frown. I don't want to see you frown."
And then she grinned! Wow, she really was confusing! One minute he made her frown, the next she was grinning! "Nope, no need to blush. I'm nothing to get nervous over." And then she giggled! Aha! Her giggle was much more lively then his own, because it came natural to her. But it actually came natural to him too, for he's been doing it all his life.
Watching as she tramped around, Bliss blinked. What was she doing now? "Race? You mean like run around? Why yes of cource! I'd love too! How about we make it a game of...er...tag!"

Starting to frown, she made it stop, why the sweet stallion was worried about her when she frowned. Lovey still pranced in place, but slowed just slightly enough to answer him carefully, "I'm not a delicate creature Bliss, I frown and smile and laugh and cry quite frequently, but I'll always just be me!"
Shaking her long mane out, feeling absolutely silly and enjoying it, letting the purple and blue slide so he couldn't see her eyes, lowering her neck down low and flinging her mane back, giggling with delight at the feeling of the hair tickling back into it's place.
"Oh goodie~!" Feeling absolutely like a filly she gave a half-rear, pawed the air and landed with a thud. Nuding his shoulder and turning away in a half-circle she grinned and took off yelling back to him,
'TAG! You're it!"

How wonderful it was to see her prance like that. It reminded him so much of Mahiri, oh how he missed his adoptive mother. She was always so hyper and couldn't stay in one place for too long, minus the fact that she lived at home...at the teepee. She was always in the fields with Kaliska or Lalit. "Me too! But I think I might be delicate. Because I heard that word used before, in the same sentence as my name. But I'm just me. Just Bliss."
Oh how those words couldn't be any more true. But not his name. Of cource, he WAS Bliss...but it was more he was always the meaning of the name. Happiness. That was definitely the dark stallion. Always happy, no matter what happened.
Watching as she flicked her mane, Bliss wished he could do the same, but that silly human boy had braided it...and it wouldn't grow. He couldn't play with it. "You covered your eyes..." He mumbled softly.
Giggling madly, as the mare in front of him let out her foal like ways, it took the dark stallion a moment to realize he had just been tagged. "Oh? Oh! I'm going to get you miss Lovey!!" He yelled, running as fast as he could.

Looking back over her shoulder, conserving her energy since she knew she couldn't outrun the stallion, saving up to dodge and weave to outsmart him.. He could catch her if she just ran straight but was he agile too? She'd find out, laughing over her shoulder and trying to talk and tease as she went, "Oh-ho-ho Miiiiister Bliss can't catch lil ole me~!"
This stallion... was fun. Pure, plain, and simple. Sometimes maybe a bit too simple, but it suited Lovey to not have to over thing or plot to get around him. He was honest and she could be the exact same way to him. Tossing her mane out of her eyes she sped up a bit to leap over a bit of snow.
Turning hard and fast, actually running towards him but figuring the stallion probably was moving too quick to stop now she eyed his mane, "Stupid braids.." panting to herself, "I bet his mane could be twice as long as mine if it hadn't been stunted short." speaking softly so only she could hear her rampage against braids... "Handsome on him though..."
"Gonna get me? I bet not!" Dodging past him, hooves flying a mass of purple and blue she didn't noticed the mud she was running straight towards... Ahh.. the melting of winter....

It came too fast. He didn't expect her to weave her way out of that one. Literally. Her voice filled his ears as they ran together, one behind the other. The softness and the playfullness of it made him smile. It flowed with the wind. Catching up with her almost, he didn't realize that she had turned around quickly and he just kept on running forward.
Where did she go? Did she disappear? Bliss blinked as he found himself no longer chasing a pretty mare. In fact, he wasn't chasing anyone. What happened to Lovey? Getting a rather scared look on his face, Bliss stopped short which made him fall onto the ground, just a few feet short of where the mudd ended. Sighing, Bliss looked around. Ooh, there she was! Haha, silly him! "Lovey watch out!" He screamed, still lying on the ground from the fall.

Squealing and locking her legs, feeling the snow give under her weight and she began to slide, the mud was coming at her much more rapidly than she was stopping, trying to haul her weight backwards as she slid proved much more difficult than she thought. Finally, just as she thought she'd never stop she looked down and realized that s he was standing only half a hoof deep in mud. Grinning triumphantly she started to turn to head over to see if Bliss was okay, MUSH.
That would be the noise that rang in her ears as she sliped hard in the mud and ice ont her knees. Groaning and blushing as she made her way up onto all fours to survey the damage as she stared in horror at her legs. They had been clean and purple... now they dripped mud and the purple seemed sickly. Backing up, getting onto solid ground she looked around for somewhere to clean up, calling to Bliss, "Are you okay??"

She fell. The pretty mare ruined her coat! She fell into the mudd! Oh, the poor dear was all dirty now. Quickly standing himself up, the dark stallion rushed over to her, not caring about the mudd for himself. As long as it didn't touch his mane, he was perfectly fine. "Me? I'm just fine! But you! Lovey, you're dirty! We have to go and get you cleaned up, come on I'll take you to the nearest stream."
He nodded slowly, staring down into the icky brown stuff that they stood in. Eh, it was disgusting. Who on earth would make such a thing real? Ruining the pretty mare's coat! Unheard of! Shaking his head, Bliss looked back up at the purple mare. "Do your knees hurt? You fell hard."

Bursting into laughter, Loveys couldn't stop the laughter, the mud was cold and drying to her coat, the stream would be god-awful cold, and the stallion had seen her fall harder than even a newborn filly could manage but it all seemed so ludicris and funny. "Oh I'm fine darling.. just fine." Looking down at the mud she began walking, lettin Bliss lead the wait and gasped slightly, "But ah.. my knees are a bit sore.."
Shaking out her legs she cursed herself even as she continued to laugh a bit, "Oh my.. stupid clutzy self..." Shaking her body out completely, shaking as if to get the soreness and embarrassed feeling out of her body she grinned up at him sweetly, "We'll keep my tumble between the two of us, right?" looking down at her mane she grumbled a bit, "Stupid thing's full of mud.. it'll take ages to get it all out.."

What? Why? Huh? She was laughing! At him? Oh, he hoped not. What had he done wrong this time? Looking down at where the mud had stained her, Bliss frowned, he didn't find this situation to be the least bit funny. She was dirty for god's sake! How could she find that funny? "You sure? You fell afterall! What if you had gotten hurt, Lovey? That would have been my fault." He looked away from her and silently cursed himself. Stupid, stupid, stupid. "I'll help you walk, if you want me too." The dark stallion mumbled softly.
And then she went and called herself the stupid clutzy one. Well, there was going to be none of that. None of that at all! Forcing himself to look back at the purple muddy mare, Bliss bent his head and nuzzled her neck. "Don't worry I won't tell a soul. Just don't get hurt when I'm with you. Promise? I cannot live knowing I got you hurt." A soft smile was placed on the ignorant stallion's face as he spoke, "I can help you with your mane, Lovey."

Sobering from all of her laughing rather quickly, Lovey moved closer to Bliss and stopped her movements, "You silly-sweet stallion... I slipped and fell but I'm okay, honest.. it wasn't your fault at all." Nuzzling against his neck, snorting softly she smile and sniffed him, hoping she wasn't obvious, "You don't have to help me walk, I'm just fine... I told you I'm strong I've fallen many many times... Honest. Most of the times it isn't into a vat of mud though."
Grinning as he nuzzled her neck, "I'm glad you won't tell, truth is when I was little I never went out and played since I worried about my looks. So, as I got older I hadn't developed running and playing skills so I'm highly uncoordinated." Moving back a step and staring up at him curiously, "I promise I'll try not to fall since it means a lot to you." Looking down at her mane she smiled ruefully, "If you step on it lightly when it's in the water we can mash all the mud out of it... Times like this I wish I had hands like a two-legger"

He nodded. Hoping she was right, he couldn't deal with himself if she was only lying to make him feel better. What an idiot for making her fall! "Alright, Lovey. I believe you." Bliss grinned, and then blushed when she nuzzled him, happy to remember that his coat was too dark for her to see anything so it didn't matter if he was embarrest or not. "You sure? Alright, fine I'll let you take care of yourself. But I'm the stallion here, you know. I should be taking care of you! If I fell, I bet...I bet you'd want to take care of me!" His voice was really loud and childish as he almost screamed the last part out.
"Awww, my dear that is terribly sad! A foal shouldn't worry about their looks. Wait...what's a foal? But you want truth? I don't even remember my childhood. All I remember is arriving here one day all grown up." Bliss sighed, that horrible fact was hard to live with...as he watched all the little one in the lands giggle and play about with their friends, the dark stallion wished he had at least one memory from that time. It made him feel as though he didn't even have a childhood. What if he just exsisted always like a stallion? That would be horrible!
"Thank you!" His spirits were lifted a little bit after saying his darkest hidden secret...now that the mare had promised him she wouldn't fall again. "Seriously? I didn't know that. Well, we could try!" Bliss said happily, lifting up one of his hooves. "Or we can go get my two-legger to help?"

Taking a slow deep breathe, Lovey stared up in the stallion confused at why she felt a kinship with him. Other stallionks had nuzzled her and they had ended up rolling on the ground wishing they were girls, but Bliss.. was different. She felt safe with him, he was childish and loud at times but he genuinely cared in his bumbling sweet way. Shaking her mane out she tried to make her mind stop thinking such foolish thoughts, Bliss was her friend, nothing else.. right? Smiling up at him and nudging gently at his mane she smiled, "Of course I'd want to take care of you, but a big strong stallion never falls down, right?" Giggling at her own ridiculous words she eyed him through downcast eyes.
"A foal, is a young Soquili.. a baby I suppose if I use the human word. I don't remember mine too well either Bliss, something we both have in common." Shaking her head, "All I remember is a bit of pain, a lot of vanity, and a heck of a lot of wasted time." Snorting and pawing the ground, dragging a bit of hair with her she grinned, "My friends would be screaming and crying that their life was over if they had fallen, but I'm afraid I've moved past that age."
Beginning to walk, needing fresh air and the shock of the water to take the silly romantic thoughts out of her head she mumbled to herself, 'You're acting like a little filly chasing stars and romance.. get your head about you girl." Grinning back at him and tossing her head up and down repeatedly, "If your two-legger will help I'll be obliged, but I won't mind if you paw at my hair.. it won't hurt much honest."
((Sorry about the delay I'm finally feeling me again xD))

((-snugs- That's good to hear.))
He stared back down at her, with an excellently content look on his face. The dark, silly, ignorant stallion didn't really know what he was thinking, but it made him happy. No thoughts came to him when he stared at her...not like they did with Milkshake. With her, everything was obvious...it was there...it was meant to be.
But he hadn't seen his 'love' in forever. They only saw eachother twice...but those two moments meant the world to Bliss. Tearing his gaze away from Lovey...the dark stallion tried to push away all the thoughts that had to deal with Milkshake. This moment, his life, his meaning...it wasn't about her anymore. Of cource, the ignorant stallion would always find himself loving her...
But this wasn't about her anymore! Glancing down to look at Lovey once again, Bliss grinned. She nudged his mane and it made him feel almost special. Like he was with Milkshake again...ah, the pretty white mare with her multi-colored mane...no! Bliss shook his head, no more thoughts. But then a single tiny thought popped up and it made the stallion think. If that was ever possible. Could it be that he was acting this way towards Lovey Dovey to fill the void that was once filled by Milkshake? Aww, if that was the case...the dark stallion felt terrible.
Trying to hide his sudden saddness, Bliss put on his childish like behavior and giggled. "Well of cource, but I fail to see a strong stallion amongst us so whom do you speak of?" He laughed once more and the former thoughts of Milkshake left his head.
"Ooh! I've heard of 'baby' before! That's what Bairn kept talking about that one day. How much he wanted a 'baby'! So they're the same thing? Foal and baby?" Bliss questioned, his voice moving quickly to the excitement in the fact that he actually knew something but didn't know the other term for it. "You don't remember your childhood either?" He paused and nuzzled her. "Well I'm glad I'm not alone in that department. Your friends? What kind of friends are those? If someone had fallen, you pick them back up. That's what friendship is about. Being the lean when a friend is down. Being the one who is there when no one else is. Being the one who shows faith, love and courage amongst everything else." Something had come over Bliss as he spoke, having no idea what he had just said, or where it had come from...the stallion just kept right on talking. It was like they came for a reason, he still had no idea that he just said those words...but something inside him told him it was right.
Following quickly next to her, Bliss tried his best to tune back into reality. Hearing a soft mumble, the dark stallion turned his head, but could make out nothing. "Alright well if you want it done quickly, I'm going to guess I'm the best option...but if you want it done...better then my two-legger in the best option. Your choice."

Frowing at her own stupid thoughts, stupid feelings, stupid everything Lovey slowed her walking, keeping her face averted so the easily confused Bliss couldn't see the composure she was lacking. Real friends, real comraderie had never exhisted for her. She knew the dark stallion wasn't meant to be a mate, or at least she was almost positive. He was a friend, and she hoped they would stick together to play and fight even a little bit. She'd not had anybody to do those things with and that was why the weird feelings and blushing were hitting her so hard now. Nobody had paid her attention for something besides her beauty, nobody had ever raced with her since they didn't want to see her mane come to harm. Frowning in disgust she looked at the monstrous mane of hers. Always a source of pride and vanity now seemed to have teeth and claws, sucking her into a life of oblivion... Mumbling to herself she frowned, "Knock it off you drama-queen."
Mustering a smile, her eyes still remotely sad she gazed up at Bliss, "You're the stallion silly. Even if you dont' like the other ones around you.. You're still one.. at least you've managed to prove you aren't a jerk-head like the ones I've met." Snorting in disgust and ranting a bit, "That Bairn is an over-stuffed pig-headed.... ... JERK." Stamping a foot for effect she felt a bit stupid for carrying on so much. "Oh dear..."
"A baby.. a foal.. yes yes.. same thing.. although babies are more for humans termanology but can be used for any creature really." Shaking her mane the silly thing didn't even know a baby? "My friends wouldn't have run.. or jumped.. or played.. and if I had fallen I'dve been laughed at and ignored for a week for disgracing myself, getting muddy and probably giving myself enough split ends to make them want to "Just die~!!" they were truly stupid at times I'm afraid..." Smiling at his words, "I think I've made a true friend in you, have I not Bliss?"
"I'll let you take care of it.. my two-legger follows me around like a stupid lost puppy.. I'll let her trim off a few inches of split ends.. it'll be the treat of a lifetime to that thing of mine." Frowning a bit, "I suppose I should be nicer to the two-legger.. but I don't want to at times.."

Something was wrong, he could sense it. Like he never had this ability to before, that was always Bairn's job...but right now he could either sense awkwardness or total...comfort. It was a mixture of both, the aura that came from Lovey Dovey as they walked together. Soft purple eyes glanced down, and he just stared at her until his own eyes started to hurt. Friends. The most important thing to the dark stallion were his friends. And right now Bliss felt as though he was sharing the moment with his best. Or rather, he didn't really know. He had always called Milkshake his best friend and she will always be, but then again there were Rainbow Chaser, Astia, Aruna and now Lovey Dovey. You could only have one BEST friend, right? It was so hard to choose just one...
"What's wrong?" Bliss finally said in that high pitched voice of his. "And don't try to use my stupidity against me and say nothing cause that's not going to work." He stammered, even though that was a lie. He would believe her, whatever came out of her mouth.
"Me? Really? Wow..." The dark stallion blinked and then he giggled. "I'll never be a jerk-head like all the rest. I'm different because I hate being who I am. I want to be a mare." Bliss didn't really take notice onto how wrong that usually sounds when he said that, it didn't really matter. "I didn't know you felt so strongely about Bairn, Lovey!" He joked, rather surprised at her words about the tanned stallion.
"I see. That makes sense I guess." The stallion nodded, it was usually the thinig he said to others when he just didn't really get it still but didn't want to make it obvious so he just agreed. "That's stupid. Even stupider then me. Running and jumping and playing are the greatest things in the world! If anyone should be laughed and ignored for weeks, it should have been your friends." Bliss grinned and then nuzzled her once again, but this time closer to her cheek without even realizing it. "Why yes. You have. A true friend indeed. Have a found one in you?"
Bliss nodded and stepped on her mane rather hard, pressing down with all his might. He didn't really know what exactly se wanted him to do with her hair so he just put all his weight onto one hoof and stared. "I don't see my two-legger very often. He's much more interested in Mahiri or Bairn."
