The GIB says: Don't love Flarn without protection!

Or, you know, we could say something else.

Maybe a public education thread AND an automatic GiB-esque reply?

Darknrgy withdrawal, like withdrawal from any addictive drug is an extremely difficult process, however darknrgy withdrawal is absolutely necessary to abstain from further use of the drug. At G.I.B. Recovery Centers, darknrgy withdrawal is treated with the utmost care and we are dedicated to making withdrawal as comfortable as possible. Darknrgy withdrawal is a complicated process and requires the professional expertise of drug addiction specialists such as the staff at G.I.B. Recovery Centers. We strive to bring the patient the most comfort possible during the uncomfortable process of darknrgy withdrawal.

Darknrgy is considered a highly addictive drug and over time users become physically dependent on the drug in order to function. Undertaking the process of darknrgy withdrawal means that the abuser has made a decision to be released from the binds of darknrgy dependence.

For many darknrgy addicts, quitting, even for a day seems like an enormous task. Sometimes it is easier for the user to think of stopping just for one day or just for a few minutes at a time. The beginning of the darknrgy withdrawal process is the hardest since the user's body automatically wants more of the drug. This desire is known as a "craving" and is possibly the hardest part of darknrgy withdrawal a person has to experience. During the craving period the body tells the mind that it needs more darknrgy and when this physiological connection is opened the obsession to use become very powerful. Instead of giving into the obsession, a withdrawing darknrgy addict must occupy his/her mind with new, unrelated thoughts. This stage of darknrgy withdrawal usually only lasts for about a week and after this period the body will no longer have a physical craving for cocaine. Although getting rid of the physical craving is essential in remaining free of addiction, the mental obsession will still exist and can exist for an indefinite amount of time. If an ex-darknrgy addict does not know how to effectively manage these mental cravings, he/she will return to old habits and will eventually relapse of darknrgy.

At G.I.B. our trained professionals are able to provide each individual with the tools necessary to function without the use of darknrgy. Addiction is characterized by heavy denial on the part of the user and by going through treatment this denial is broken and makes relapse less of a possibility. Through the use of a comprehensive treatment program after the darknrgy withdrawals have subsided, we make living life without drugs possible. Clients participate in one-on-one counseling in order to relieve any fears they might have and help them open up to the principles of recovery. Once one-on-one counseling has begun the client also engages on a group level. For someone undergoing darknrgy withdrawal and still struggling with the obsession to use, group counseling is an essential tool because group members offer each other their hope and experience in relation to using and staying in recovery. The addict will be able to hear stories from other addicts and understand how it is possible remain free from darknrgy abuse. With this foundation in place, the darknrgy addict is able to begin on the path towards recovery and a productive life.

No lightnrgy is pressed onto our patients, to make the darknrgy withdrawal less spainful. Constant amounts of Lightnrgy pressed onto a darknrgy-addict can cause extreme physical pain, and sometimes death.

Remember kids, Friends don't let friends do Darknrgy

So..... I stole that from a cocaine recovery center ad.

What is darknrgy withdrawal?

Darknrgy withdrawal is related to physical dependence and tolerance for darknrgy. After repeated use over a period of time, the body adjusts itself to enable it to function normally with the presence of darknrgy. This could mean that it produces less of a chemical used in the brain that darknrgy imitates (neurotransmitters). It could mean that it develops more receptors in the brain to handle the darknrgy. The body might start producing more enzymes to break darknrgy down, and hormone levels could change. When use of darknrgy stops, the body fails to function normally because it has adjusted to compensate for the presence of darknrgy, and this abnormal functioning is felt as withdrawal. The higher the degree of tolerance and dependence, the worse the withdrawal symptoms will be. Withdrawal to darknrgy varies in unpleasantness, severity and risk for death. Withdrawal from darknrgy is one of the most unpleasant withdrawals, but withdrawal from heavy darknrgy mixed in with painful amounts of lightnrgy has a greater risk of death. Withdrawal symptoms are usually the opposite of the effects and side effects of the darknrgy. For example, one of the side effects of darknrgy is power, and one of the withdrawal effects from darknrgy is weakness.

And there's another. I could make a kazillion of these.

+--Zi and I had a conversation about this not too long ago, and I wish I had of posted in here sooner. You see, I believe that small bits of lightnrgy can be given to Flarn without overdosing him and... well killing him, to be blunt. Perhaps, as weird as this may sound, give him back handed gifts. Something with lightnrgy intent, but bits of darknrgy traced into it. Now, some of you are probably thinking or wandering how one can possibly give such a gift, but it is rather simple. If you are an artist, who enjoys drawing, make him picture of him surrounded by those that use to be dear to him with tears in their eyes. Show him the pain he has caused. If you are a writer, write a story or poem about what has happened to him. Do something that is equivalent to your talents. I am personally creating a music video, dedicated to Flarn and how he's changed. I don't know if it will help... but it might. --+

If you wish to cause Flarn's body to shut down due to a combination of DARKNRGY withdrawal and LIGHTNRGY overdose, please continue to shove good intentions down his throat. If, however, you want him to come out of this alive, I would suggest you try to treat him in a calm, rational manner.
Remember, you don't cure someone who is addicted to crack by injecting them with heroine.

Is what I FEEL like saying.

Maybe it's too harsh?

You sound angry. Which may lead to people thinking that GiB is becoming frustrating. Which may lead people into thinking that GiB is falling apart. Or any other possiblity.

Who says I never think things through? xp

+-- *Shakes head* It'll appear that we've lost our ability to stay calm and control out emotions. Forgive me, sir, but I believe by sending out a comment such as that will only cause harm to ourselves, and not cause any good to come to Flarn.--+
