Only noobs get pwned by viruses and hackers with windows. I am teh l33t haXx0rZ. Not a single virus, fatal error, or hijacking in all the years i've ked with computers. Havn't touched a mac in nearly 3 years. lol

macs suck due to the fact that there are barely any programs that are compatible with it. all the programs have to be from apple. In other words, dont put all ur eggs in one basket. PCs have more options.
I'd get a blank music notation book and write the actual music notation on the top line and on the set of lines below it just add another line to represent another E string and take it from there. Then it's easier to understand.
In general you're right PCs have more options, but if you are talking about running music software (recording, mixing ect.) Macs ARE better from what I heard. I heard with Macs getting blue screened is almost unheard of as opposed to getting blue screen with PC's (while running music sw) is a common thing. Don't know why, I can't prove or disprove it either, but talk to any recording tech and they'll tell you the same.
