When he smiled at her, she smiled back softly. "That's good to hear. As much as it might hurt, it hurts more to keep it in." She told him, though she was pretty sure that his mother or Ever had already told him that.

He nodded remembering his mother words as she talked with him the first time on the subject. Since then he hadn't kept it in with anyone. All they had to do was ask and he would tell them. "Yeah, my mother said the same thing. So I try not to keep things in. If someone wants to hear and will listen I will tell them." he said and looked up to the sky. The sun was finally starting to peek through the clouds and was a sure sign of what the day had in store for them. "So since you heard my interesting story, do you have one you would like to share?" he asked wanting to know more about her. He always tried to know more if they were will to tell him and this applied to anyone.

"That's good to know." Charlamagne told him with a nod and a smile. She too, glanced to the sky when light from the emerging sun gleamed into her eyes, sighing softly with a soft flick of her tail. At his question, she looked to him and tilted her head slightly. "Hmm? Well, I don't remember some of it, but I'll try my best. What would you like to know?"

Jazz thought for a moment on what to ask her. "Well, do you have any family to speak of?" he asked since she had asked him about his own family. He knew only of a few family's that actually stayed together. His own and then his Uncle Hania's family. There was also his mother's friends Alora and Cyrus's family who had the herd his parents belonged too.

The small mare frowned just slightly at the question. "Not by blood, no. I mean, I obviously have parents, otherwise I wouldn't be here... they're just not around." She told him lightly, pawing at the snow below her to uncover some more grass.

He was a bit upset by her frown to think that maybe he had brought up some bad memories. "I am sorry to hear that. Not many around here have close families. I am sorry if I brought up any bad memories." he said appologizing before digging up some more grass as well.

She shook her head, smiling softly to him. "No need to be sorry. You didn't bring back any bad memories what so ever. Though it is a bit upsetting to hear that not many have close families." She told him, trying to comfort him if her reaction had disturbed him in anyway.

"Well that is good to hear. But there are a few families that are close and they are rather big families now too." he informed her as he thought of his Uncle Hania and his family. He really didn't know anyone other than his uncle and cousin Aruna.

"That's good." She replied with a small smile. Her blue eyes scanned the surroundings for a moment. It was pretty droll, even if she liked the snow. With that, she looked back to Jazz and asked, "Is there anything to do around here? Not like this is bad or anything... but I got to be honest, it's getting a bit... boring."
