[ - Hawk - ] Teen angst must DIE a slow, messy, painful death. Aw, don't give them what they want. Make it a quick, ignored disappearance. :3 Because it's just the attention that they want. (:

Monochrome Mystery addendum:
George Bush [edit] come to think of it, Kerry too ... I know it's kind of late to quote this, but I spotted it and I just had to wholeheartedly agree.
I hate Bush, like a lot of people. But that doesn't mean I automatically love Kerry. So many people around my school go "Omfg I'm soo voting for Kerry because he's not Bush!!!111!!" but then they go around saying how much they just LOVE Kerry, and they have no idea who the hell he is. I can't say I dislike Kerry though, I don't know much about him.

Striving for beauty
is overrated.
Things just ARE what they are, and that's where the beauty is. (:

gonk sporks!
@Missanu: exactly my point. From what I know, they both suck anyway, which is kinda sad ... but then again, aren't elections all about choosing the lesser evil of two?
Did I say that being a minority is overrated? *goes to look back while grumbling at Greenday and all the kid-skaters-punkrockers-wannabe going "omg theyr liek 2 cool I wanna be liek them ******** authority I'm a rebel I wanna be minority!"* stressed
No exageration there. My own brother's like that ... but he's too sticked to MTV to even know notice that french canadians are a minority, and it's not a good thing for us.
[edit] well it seems I did ... oh well. *says it again* xp

Following the crowd is overrated. (:
Things are so much more fulfilling if you do them for yourself and not for acceptance or praise from some group.

It's all a matter of knowing when to stand up for yourself, and when to bow to the general opinion, I guess

It's all a matter of knowing when to stand up for yourself, and when to bow to the general opinion, I guessConformity is needed within society to make it run successfully. I'm not for anarchy or going against the masses just for the sole sake of going against the masses. I meant doing your thing because it's your thing. Not wearing makeup because you don't feel you have to, despite peer pressure. Sticking to what you feel is right, no matter how much the group pressures you to change what you don't want to. Making decisions based on what you've felt and analyzed, not the people's impulsive word. To go against group-think. To hug your friend in public because you care about them, despite what people may or may not think about it. To grow as an individual while still being a good citizen. Those are the kinds of things that I like. (:
