Greetings

So, about me. My name is Ashley, I'm grumpy and taller than you. I'm from Canada, some where within the Atlantic.

Right now I'm going to the Design school in my province to major in Creative Graphics. I paint and draw when I can or when I feel like it too. I'm learning to belly dance too, Tribal Fusion specificly. I love listening to music all the time. Usually I listen to Metal, but my tastes vary to everything. I eventually want to learn how to tattoo, just a matter of finding an apprenticeship.

I love learning folklore and mythology from around the world. My favorite cultures though are Scandinavian and Celtic. I've always been drawn to them because of my heritage. It usually is reflected in my art sometimes when I'm inspired.

I read, a lot. Usually fantasy or historical fiction. Along with art books and tattoo magazines they're my favorite thing to read. Sometimes I read fashion ones, because I also have a secret desire to model one day because of my height. Usually sort of alternative, Goth, or high end fashion that appears very gothic. I love Goth fashion to pieces, that and steam punk.

Certain thing likes loud beeping noises, raw tomatoes, math, people who won't return messages after a loooong time, and stealing my art stuff piss me off or I just don't like. Which results in my breaking faces.

Keep your eye on Gaia! If you watch the avatars closely, they are beginning to change (take a look at the vampires -- that is why I became one) -- realism is slowly putting a foothold on Gaia. But that is only because Gaia is growing up.

Thanks for reading and commenting on my journal. Gawd... I kinda new Rachel would be really nice because she's just so silly. She's definitely an absolute sweetheart and so very, very warm and welcoming. I'm still floating about it. <3 But I'm kinda kicking myself for not having gotten her autograph. >_<

As for Romka... I was lucky enough to have seen them perform live thanks to a friend of mine. They were here (NYC) in Sept. at an event this particular friend held and they performed their badass sword piece. Right now I don't own a sword, but when I do get one I really want the one that they use. I want a badass scimitar, all curvy and sexy. lol.
