Basically when people use "like" and/or a curse word for every other word. I also hate when people always have to curse in every sentence, or if a curse word is the only word in the sentence. It bugs the hell out of me!

I would have to say: "It's for your own good", "ZOMG!", "prolly', or "m'kay".
(both typed and spoken)

Actually I don't "hate" the phrases, but this one plainly just annoys me.
"lyk 0mgz0rz1!!11!111! 1 dunt und3rst4nd!111!!! u R 4 n00b!!11!"
Yes Yes, I have seen this phrase all the time. For some odd reason, I seem to understand it, and all the other phrases Like that. Well, at least I don't speak like that! sweatdrop
Not like I'm the kind of person who talks like it, but as included in the request to join the guild, my sister talks like that.. And I understand it.

I think the three things that get me the most are:
the overuse of "like",
using curse words as adjectives instead of taking one second to find another, more appropriate word,
and slurring over everything so it sounds like the person is talking around a large bite of peanut butter sandwich. Mumblican may be their first language, but it's not mine. rolleyes

As sad as it is... it hate it when people say "welcome back" after you tell then you'll be right back. It annoys the crap out of me. How are you supposed to respond to that? All you do is say 'thank you' then the person says 'welcome' again. And what's worse... some of the people I talk to can't spell the dang word right. "Wellcom"..... UGH!!!!

How do people say things like "lmao", or "rofl" in real life?
"Le-mow"? "Le-mayo"?
"Roffle"?
"Lowl"? (rhymes with "bowl")
I've never heard anyone say that before...

I hate it when people say the sentence '[blahblahblah] is overrated.'
For example: 'Homework is overrated.' 'Life is overrated.' 'Love is overrated.'
Guess what? That sentence is overused AND overrated stare

I hate it when people use "OK" instead of "okay" and "alot" instead of "a lot". Call it a pet-peeve of mine.
I also hate the word "application".

The most arrogant phrase to say is: "You may be right..." The most annoying phrase is: "I know." (spelled correctly or misspelled) because most of the time they really did not know and they are simply saying it.
