I'm back and alive, Again to be seen Romping around The computer screen.
Been thinking lately of Roman myths: We just can't forget them, though we try, They stay around, we ponder them When we look at the earth or sky-- What does it mean to be a man Or woman in the mortal world And see our fathers' lives outlaid Forever to be left unfurled?
What does it mean to love the past, and yet know that it doesn't last?
I've thought a bit about the life Of ancient truths in modern lies, Decided: Nothing lives in us If we don't look through age-old eyes.

I started a new book last night Of Oliver Sacks, the neurologist knight Who writes with such a heart inside You can't tell it's a doctor's mind, Of crazy ilnesses, of pains That people suffer from their brains; The awesome pwers of these things Last greater time than wedding rings, And all the damages, they cause Another thing in those with paws:
I read, and then I sit in shock At what my Great Creator's done, At what we know, and where we knock When in our minds we're all alone, O Marvel, how mankind reacts To our genetic rules and pacts.

I confess that to improv I'm pretty new Dependent on couplets and the things with that view. So I guess I should start with an introduction And you can decide whether I'm out or in.
I'm a second year student at university And I study writing creatively I've got a minor in film, cuz I'm into movies - Those are my basic activities.
But what about you? What makes you tick? I'm a late-comer - let's see your kicks.
