Rune stopped dead in his tracks as she persisted in talking. What..the..
"Uhm. Yea.. I did.." He began slowly, eyeing the girl suspiciously. Was she toying with him or was she seriously confused? He couldn't tell, unfortunately. "We just.. had a whole conversation about it.." He added with a frown. Wow. What a loony. Really was a freak afterall. She didn't even remember calling him a fluffball. That's rediculous.
"You bipolar or somethin'? Psh. Whatever. I'm out of here. I'm not in the mood to play any games." He continued to shuffle off. This girl was confusing.. and he definitely wasn't giving her his name if that was the case.

Rage stopped walking after him, silver hues watching him speak, then walk off. What was bipolar anyway? She wasn't cold right now...she was so confused. He wouldn't even tell her his name? How rude, that wasn't very nice of him. But they hadn't had a whole conversation did they?
Oh no...
"I'm sorry," she turned from him, trying to figure out which way to go, "It's hard to control sometimes...I hope she didn't say anything mean to you..>" she started to slowly pad in a direction slightly off from where he as, though still in that general direction.
This seemed so hopeless to her, she could never do anything right.

This girl was hopeless. Hopeless, a freak, and stupid. Yeap.
"Uhm. /She/? Not you? C'mon you're one lion." He snerked. Wow. A girl who thought she had two personalities. Loony.
"So're you leaving, then?" He asked. Hopefully she'd say yes. Otherwise maybe he'd lead her a little further and then boot her off himself.

"You don't understand...I'm not whole..." it probably wouldn't make sense to him, didn't make sense to her either a lot of the time. Oh well, he'd probably make fun of her or something, she sighed, least the beast inside of her was sleeping or something. Either that or leaving her to be tortured and confused right now.
"If I can figure out which way to go...I don't really have a home to go to...I was just wandering round..trying to find a place to rest..."

Rune scrunched his nose in disgust. "You're totally /one/ lion." He repeated. "unless you ARE bipolar.. and you have two personalities..but that's if you're /mental/. You seem pretty 'normal' as far as normal goes." He sighed. These random meetings with random lions was starting to irritating. NONE of them were decent.
"Ah. No home to go to," Rune repeated lightly, shrugging. "Well here isn't the place." He wanted her out, out, OUT! Here wasn't the place for strangers to be poking around in curiousity. She didn't.. seem so bad, though. Perhaps she'd rest and then leave if he found her someplace? He shook his head quickly.
"Besides. You don't want to rest here. All there is to sleep under for shelter are elephant skulls and the once in a blue moon cave. Your sure as hell not going to my place," He commented.

So wait....she was normal or was she a freak? She was so confused. Bipolar meant two personalities, well, that was sort of what was happening, but the personality was just her, just, separated but connected...this was all so confusing.
Her ears flattened against her head a bit, this wasn't a good place? That was ashame. "Thats alright, I don't usually sleep with shelter anyway...usually I'm out in the open..." she peered around, she didn't want to impose on him at all, but where to go, how to get out without being able to fly?
"Which way do I go to get out...I don't wish to aggravate you any longer ...umm...sir..." what else was she supposed to call him anyway? "I just can't fly...I fell from the sky not too long ago..."

Rune snorted. She didn't sleep under anything? Just as well. Freak with freak habits. He nodded lightly to himself in agreement.
"Well good," He began, tail flicking back and forth with each passing minute. "Then you'll have no problems finding a place to rest then." It wasn't a nasty comment, but not a nice one, either. If she never slept in a shelter then why was she /searching/? There was plenty of ground to go around, and only a fool wouldn't take notice.
"Ah. To get out. You walk -straight-. No matter which direction you go it'll get you out eventually, so long as you don't start walking in circles." He explained with a snort. "Aaah, fell from the sky, did you? Good. That shows how much of a mistake it was to give a lion a pair of wings." He concluded.

Rage still followed after him, but stayed quiet mostly. He seemed like an ill-tempered. Perhaps she should leave here before finding a place to rest, she was beginning to wonder if the others that lived here were as ill-tempered as he was. Strange, very strange he was.
Straight?
She could do that.
She growled inwardly in her mind that she was being treated how she was. But she suppressed it, she would be tired later from trying to keep the beast contained, probably pass out somewhere again like she had a few nights ago. She frowned when he said it was good she fell from the sky...she doubted he knew what pain was like that.
"It was either me hitting the ground or a friend..." she said in a mumble. She huffed, this male thought he knew everything didn't he?

"You or a friend? Pssh. Should've let your friend take it so that you wouldn't be here asking for directions," He stated flatly, although quirking a brow meanwhile.
Silence. Awkward.
"So. What'd you do? Run face first into a tree?" He snerked. Wasn't much to say, but at least it was something. He wasn't keen on conversation himself, but it depended.

"My back..the the ground..." she said absent mindedly. Though that hurt less then the pain she had felt years and years ago. "I've lost too many I care about to risk losing another..." she was getting lost in her own thoughts. Vague silhouettes of her family in front of her, peaking out from the shadows of this gray place.
Why did they taunt her so?
She doubted he knew anything of great pain, great loss. She frowned and refused to look at his eyes, he wished to act towards her like that, she wouldn't look at him then.

"Soo.. you randomly ran into the ground. Intelligent." Rune remarked snidely, rolling his eyes. He'd meant HOW did she end up falling.. not what she fell on. Loser.
"Whatever. Glad you find some good in other people," he added with a scoff. Everyone he'd met had either abandoned him or tried to rough him up. He was either attacked for no reason or.. well.. just. Left to sit and rot. After treatment of that magnitude for so long, he'd learned to distance himself from the world, thus creating the Runai that currently continued to walk along in front of Rage. But he could've cared less about her ties with other individuals and how much she cared for them. He didn't need to care, he wasn't directly impacted by their existance. Why /should/ he care?
Rune snorted at these thoughts.

"Not randomly..."Rage said narrowing her eyes, the beast was churning inside of her, but the glare faded, and her eyes fell to the ground as they walked on. Why couldn't she just pull herself away from his company and attempt to fly off? Even just turn and walk in the opposite direction? She wondered if he was a god in disguise, in one of those...allusion things, keeping her here against her will.
That couldn't be right though...
Perhaps it was just the fact she was in the company of another, that she wasn't alone at this moment in time. Figures, that she'd be compelled to stay in the company of someone who didn't even care about where she was, and even made rude comments to her.
So it goes...oh well.
"So what about you? Are you king of this...place?" she asked, peering around somewhat as she asked. This place wasn't really much of..anything, now that she took a closer look at it.

"Oh so intentionally, then?" Rune stated with a quick raise of his eyebrows in regards to how exactly she'd managed to fall. He was just toying with her, afterall. Of course there was probably something wrong while they were flying, but until she pointed this out herself Rune would continue to prod for the lack of any other better entertainment.
"Ah. No. I'm not the King. Dunno who would want to be the king of this hell hole. No one comes here anyway, so there's nothing to be king over. Whatever. Morons, lot of them. The only thing worth anything around here are the hyenas," He snerked. "And believe me, they'd boot out the stupid lions that live around here in a heartbeat if they had the chance," He added offhandedly. Even he himself had to admit that it'd be great to see the Maziko's fall. Specially since it was Ausha's family that was running it. Psh.

Rage watched him speak, how could he say that? This was his home, shouldn't he be happy he had a home? Why did he hate it so much to speak of it that way? So many questions, but she figured it was better to just not ask him. She wondered about his past though, what might have happened to him to make him so bitter, even he couldn't be that bad beneath it all.
She even had some good in her, minimal, but some still resided to fight off the beast.
"That's...interesting..." she said softly. What the hell else could she say to that? He wasn't making it easy for her to talk with him, much less try to understand what might make him act this way.
He was confusing...she didn't even know his name..wait, did she? Damn her memory to hell...

Rune continued to lead on, making sure his direction was headed towards the boarder. Obviously there wasn't any other way to get her to leave.. and well. If he said too much about himself then she might feel as if she's invited back to learn some more. He didn't feel like dealing with outside contact for the time being.. he had work to do in the hyena bit of this spit of territory.
"I bet," He responded, just barely hearing her little whisper. The graveyard was a brilliant place to eavesdrop on conversations, particularly because it was so quite all the time. The most you could hear if you stood still were the small rodents wandering around and knocking bones over. Ugly little things.
"Getting close to the border," He mentioned lightly with a flick of his tail. Maybe he'd stop for a quick drink or something, even if it was considered trespassing into the pridelands. Who cares. No one ever patrolled there anyway, and IF he happened up on a pridelander? He could beat 'em up quick and easy, no problem. At least.. that's what he thought.
