Nodding, she followed him closely. She wasn't exactly sure whether or not to trust him, but she had no choice. If she thought he was lying, she would simply go with her gut, though lately, it seemed to play tricks on her.

He looked to her and seen the distrust, sometimes to confuse anyone tis to ask questions. "Do you not trust me ma cheire?" He looked to her with truthful eyes now as if he had just put a mask upon that glorious face though it was tainted with an ebony birth mark. Some said the gods cursed his father for wearing his own mask so they made his childeren have its marks, he seemed to think it was true now...that he was cursed.

Midori thought for a moment. "Define trust..." Raising a brow, she examined his eyes once more, only now noticing what appeared to be a partial mask on his face. She dared not ask about it, in fear of making him upset.

That made him chuckle, he had to. "Let me take you into a wooded area alone? I shall assume that if I get to close to you, you will either flee or try to kick my...a**? As your fellow friends seem to put it?" He had trouble with English still. His French had been his first language as a foal and Engligh secondary and he still wasn't used to most phrases.

Midori giggled lightly. "Oh, by all means, get close to me." She grinned, and shook her head. "I'm not worried about anything like that. I'm just worried that you'll purposely lead me in the wrong direction, is all." A few strands of her flowing mane fell into her face, causing her to tilt her head to get them away from her eyes. "What friends? I've met but one other since I've been here, and I'm sure that if another stallion got too close to him he'd kick his a**." She giggled at the thought of it.

He stopped and frowned as he circled to her front looking down at her his hot breath on her neck as he spoke as he looked into her eyes. "This does not bother you?" he asked almost intrigued. There was always a reason. "I meant other soquili they use odd phrasing to myself. I'm not from here, or my orgins at least." he looked to her a bit solemly.

She shook her head. "Not a bit. Should it?" Listening to his statement, she nodded. "I've gathered that. Your accent... It's one I haven't heard before." Shrugging, she took the chance to get a better look at the mark on his face. She truthfully found it slightly attractive, though she'd never admit it.

He raised, "A lot of the soquili mares find it...insulting or rude for a male to be so close and try to get after them...its rather normal where I am from." he shrugged taking his place by his side. He noticed she was looking at his mask birth mark, he didn't mind it but it was one of the few markings that tainted that gleaming white pelt of his.
