Liam blinked, and side-stepped a bit when Gingitsune nudged him. But he nodded, understanding. "Okay, sounds good!" His tail twitched in anticipation. When he looked to his side, Gingitsune was gone, but he saw her moving off, so he followed. He was beginning to get a little antsy for the hunt to begin. But no, he had to pay attention to what Pyro and Bryson was saying!

The caribou shifted into perfect position for attacking the aimed caribou. Grinning from Alpha Pyromia's comment he inched closer to the target. The he yelled "Mark! Attack!" He sprinted, using his wings to propell himself faster. "Whoo hoo! Yeah!" He leaped at the caribou's throat, while all the other caribou ran away from the wolfies. Swinging from the caribou he grimaced hoping the thrashing wouldn't make him fall off.

Dream Seer wagged her tail slightly as FireFly noticed her, but was still a little cautious. These were new wolfies she had never seen before, and she was unsure if they were with the pack that had destroyed her own or not. However, their auras shone as being unthreatening; that is, until Daniel growled at her. She jumped slightly before lowering her ears and tucking her tail between her legs, backing up slowly. She didn't want to start anything, especially since she was injured so bad. Maybe her curiosity would be her downfall today?
However, FireFly spoke up once more, trying to get her to ignore his... brother? An Avian and a Chibi being siblings? She hadn't heard of it before, but with everything so miraculous in the world she hardly paid it any heed. She gave the shining blue wolf a weak smile, but refused to budge and move back forward towards them. She was on her guard, even if their auras shone much differently from her pursuers. She lifted her head when FireFly asked her a question and she tried to reply, opening her mouth but no sound escaping it. She snapped it shut, turning away and blushing. She had lost her voice, but she had forgotten. Her ears swiveled backward as she fidgeted in place, unsure about how to go about this.
Getting into position was the easy part, but now the real hunt began. At Bryson's voice, Gingitsune lept out of the brush, snapping at the legs of the unsuspecting caribou they weren't aiming for to drive them off. As they began their escape, the silver-fox Wolfie turned her head to Liam and smiled, panting a bit. "Follow my lead!" she called to the new hunter, dashing over to their target and growling at it to keep it from moving forward with the rest of the herd.
Pyromia raced out toward the caribou after Bryson, running after it before grabbing hold of it's achilles tendon and tearing at it. This slowed the beast down immensely, as it was unable to use the leg. As it lost its speed, Pyromia lept for it's back, trying to bite for the shoulder to help bring it down. During the hunt Pyromia could get fierce and even scary, trying to use all his wit and power to bring a beast down in the fastest and easiest way possible. However, even if this caribou was severely slowed and injured, it still had plenty of fight in it. As Pyromia attempted to reach its shoulders, it kicked at him strongly, even with Bryson hanging from his neck, and hit the alpha in his stomach. Yelping, the dark blue wolf was flown back and into the grass behind. He lay there for a moment, the air knocked out of him as he coughed to get it back while his stomach screamed in pain. He rolled over on his elbows, panting as he tried to get his footing back.
"Py!!!" Gingitsune screamed, horrified at what had happened. Her thoughts immediately went to his well-being as rage welled up inside of her. With a fierce growl, Gingitsune lept at the caribou's head, snapping her teeth on the back of its head and yanking it down violently.
Kouya no Kiku had her own paws full trying to keep the other caribou away, but it was difficult when it was only her. The chase started out good, but once they realized there was only one wolf on their trail they became less afraid and more defensive. She could only chase them off so far before they turned around and tried to gang up on her, so she had to retreat a distance. She kept a watchful eye on them as she listened for the others to call her back, still hearing them taking down the lone beast.
However, her vigil was soon diverted as she spotted a bright pink young wolf chasing after a rabbit, and it soon became apparent he was getting himself into some major trouble. The caribou eyed the pup, seeing him as a mild threat and their anger was soon positioned on him. The leader of the group called to arms his herd members and began to paw at the ground in preparation. Eyes widened, she watched as he charged at the young pup and sped off to intersect the male before the caribou could.
Satinka, completely oblivious to the direness of the situation, continued to chase his dinner. However, this was soon cut short as Kouya plowed into him, knocking him over before the caribou could trample him. He yelped loudly, trying to fight off his "attacker" before realizing the situation. He grew pale as the caribou eyed him and began to shake a little. "Quick! Follow me! We need to get out of here before they hurt anyone!" Kouya no Kiku breathed, pushing him up on his feet and taking off. Satinka, completely shaken, could only nod in reply and followed her closely, finding it the only way to assure his survival.

FireFly watched the young wolfie, head cocked slightly as he took in her actions and movements. Always a good judge of the wolfies around him, he was quick to pick up that something was wrong with her voice. He was about to speak again when Daniel interrupted.
"What's wrong with you? Speak!" Daniel demanded, tactless as usual.
"Mind your tongue, Daniel," FireFly growled. "Again, Miss, please excuse my brother's lack of sense. If words are not possible they are not needed. We are not a threat to you or any of the other Wolfies in the Valley. I lived here some time ago and have just returned from my travels."
"I'm Daniel," the Avian said, spreading his wings proudly. "I'm the first Avian in the Valley since they left. I'm looking for more like me."
"At any rate," FireFly said, clearing his throat and offering a strange look at his grinning brother. "Just nod if I ask the right question. Do you have pack here?"

Seeing Alpha Pyromia get hurt, he got mad and thrashed his head around trying to rip out the caribou's throat. He used his huge wings to over power the caribou and used his paw to slash at the eyes. The caribou fell and layed there shallowly breathing, but Bryson was still mad so he continualy scratched at the face and throat. Soon the caribou would be dead. With his mouth still clamped on the throat he said, "Die! How dare you hurt Alpha Pyromia! We will use your flesh to feed us! Grrrrrrrrrrr!"

(( I'm waiting to reply with my other Wolfies until Fanta gets back to reply, too. X3 ))
Although feeling herself becoming more comfortable around the two in front of her, Dream Seer remained on her guard. This Daniel seemed to be on his guard as well, keeping the air a bit tense. Her tail still between her legs, she managed to smile at FireFly's warm tone, lifting her head in response. He seemed to understand right away, giving the young wolfie a sense of relief over the situation.
However, at his question her eyes diverted to the ground at her feet. She used to, but... Closing her eyes, she shook her head in response. Although she was travelling with another wolfie, she was a classified lone wolf; after all, no telling just how long he was going to travel with her. Her head turned to the side, back over the forest as if she were looking at something specific as she thought, though her ears stood up and turned to her two acquaintances to let them know she was still there, and listening.

FireFly gave the young Wolfie a comforting smile. He knew what it was like to be alone in the world. Daniel was around so rarely it often felt he had no family at all.
"Would you like me to take you to one of the loval packs? I'm sure they could accept a new member. I would take you in but... as you can see, we're not exactly much of a pack."
Daniel, starting to relax, grinned. "Well, I'll leave you two be, I'm off to go find some more Avians." He got a running start and took to the air, large wings carrying him high into the sky.

Liam was antsy - it was so hard to keep still! And he couldn't keep the end of his tail still, it was still wagging to and fro slightly. But thankfully, it didn't disturb the brush. As Bryson gave the signal, the two-toned wolf was at a loss - what was he supposed to do!? He was relieved to hear Gingitsune and was soon following her.
It seemed everything was going in slow motion - Pyromia attacked the caribou, it turning to bowl the alpha in the stomach. But Gingitsune's scream jerked him out of it. Skittering to a halt, he looked helplessly between his injured friend and their meal. What should he do!?

Panting after Bryson finished off their prey, Gingitsune breathed and nodded, "It's dead. It's finally dead..." She turned to Liam, seeing his helplessness and smiled weakly. "It's okay, Liam, you did good. It's all over. Now all we have to do is take care of Py," she explained, heading over to pass in front of the inexperienced male so he would follow.
Pyromia was still gasping for breath, but he refused help when Gingitsune asked. "No, we need to get the body to the others before sundown. The only way we can do that is if we all pitch in to help. I'll be fine; it's just a bruise. Now... where's Kouya?" he directed, standing on wobbly feet.
"But Py, what if it's more than just a bruise? What about internal bleeding, or--"
"Gingitsune!" he growled, making the silver fox wolfie cringe back. He... he had never yelled at her before!
"I... I'll go look for her," she whispered, turning tail with a lowered head. Was it so bad to be worried? "I'll be back in a minute. Come on, Liam," she said, turning to Liam and leading him off in the direction she was last seen in.
Pyromia sighed; he didn't like having to use force, but in such a dire need with so many wolfies depending on them it was necessary. Limping over, he turned to Bryson and smiled, nodding a "Thanks" for the concern he showed during the hunt. "We should get ready to take it back, he instructed, walking over.
Dream Seer, meanwhile, was getting quite comfortable in Firefly and Daniel's company. She was no longer overly submissive, but she continued to keep an eye out. Her head turned back to FireFly as he asked his question, but Dream's answer was a bit obscure. She alternated her weight between her front paws, not ready to leave. After all, why leave a good thing behind?
Before she was able to make her answer, Daniel took to the air. His reasoning was understandable, but it made her wonder if she was doing anything wrong. She stood still for a bit, a confused look on her face as she watched the avian fly away. However, once she regained her bearings she wandered closer to FireFly to let him know she was more comfortable. She laid down on her stomach, still keeping about a yard between her and the older wolfie, and finally thought about answering his question. She shook her head in late response, not wanting to go anywhere else in her condition. She was still horribly battered, and making it up the hill was quite the challenge for her in itself.

FireFly nodded, letting her rest. He also let her keep her space, sitting down on his haunches where he was and watching her in a friendly fascinated way. He wondered what had happened to her that kept her from speaking. Instead of asking her unnessary questions, he closed his eyes and enjoyed the wind through his fur.

It didn't take long for Kouya no Kiku and Satinka to lead the caribou on long enough for them to lose interest, for they lost interest early on, but now Kouya had to find her way back. It wasn't difficult, after all, they weren't far off, but what about the young wolfie she rescued? "Child, what's your name?" she asked, cocking an ear slightly.
Satinka looked up at her, fear still displayed on his eyes lightly until they blazed back to life, almost furiously. "I am not a child! I can survive on my own with the best of them, and am just fine! It's Satinka, if it's any concern of yours," he snapped, fur around his neck standing up defensively.
Kouya was caught off-guard, but this didn't change her mind on the matter. He seemed frightened, and one to be dealt with carefully. It was obvious he was alone from all the cuts and blood visible on his fur, but was he protecting something? "Okay, Satinka. I'm sorry, I just react that way to wolfies who are younger than me. I didn't mean any disrespect by it. Let us head back to where we met, and we can go from there. Sound good?" she compromised, a caring visage displayed to him.
Satinka shrinked back, surprised at her behavior. She wasn't going to snap back at him for being so disrespectful himself? Hmph, it was no matter. If she wanted to be nice, let her. It wasn't going to get him to open up so she could just take advantage of his obvious disadvantage in age and experience. "Fine. From then on, it's separate ways, though. Capiche?" he said after a moment of silence.
Kouya nodded, smiling. "Capiche."
"Amastaaaaay, we've been here for hours. Isn't there somewhere else we could go? How are we suppose to be finding anyone else if we're stuck out in the middle of nowhere!?" Penathandy whined impatiently from his stead, antsy in his position with nothing to do. He wasn't worried about any predators or scaring off any prey because, like he said, they were out in the middle of nothing. He knew they needed to stay put so another one of their packmates could find them, but couldn't he wander off?
"Hush, you brat! These are our orders, and I expect you to follow them!" Trenne hissed, annoyed with his impatience. She was never one to question orders given, and it annoyed her when others continually complained. Penathandy shrunk back slightly but stood his ground, holding back the urge to snap back at her but knowing it wasn't wise.
"Quit your bickering, you two. Our wait is over," Amastayalla said nonchalantly, as if she didn't really care the two of them were fighting. It embarrassed Trenne, but Penathandy only stuck his tongue out at her back. Senjo was just about above them by the time the two realized, and were almost knocked back by the large teal avian's strong wing flaps as he came in for a landing. "So, how did the search go?"
"Fine. They're okay," he breathed, catching his breath. "Quite battered and bruised, but they should heal nicely with the proper care. They seem to be in good hands, though," he said with a slight smirk. Amastayalla nodded, glad to hear the news.
"Shall we be off then, Alpha?" Trenne asked politely, putting the previous fight behind her.
"Soon, Trenne. Soon enough," she answered, watching the horizon.
