That made Cassie perk up when she heard the question. "Oh, yes, please. I would love to see the beach. It may be at nighttime but I know it will be beautiful." She burrs softly before smiling at Shilah, thinking to herself, "He must be that kind to want to show me the beach.... I like him." She smiled to herself before trotting up closer to him. "Show me the way, kind sir?" She giggles at the little joke she made, hoping he would catch on it.

Shilah nodded and smiled cheerfully. "Okay then, we shall go to the beach. I haven't been back there in a while but I think I still know the way." He said as he gestured in the direction in which they would be heading. He was kind of excited to go back to his home as well, he was curious to see if it had changed at all since he left.

Cassie watches him closely with his reactions, liking his smile. She nodded softly and then says "Maybe the beach have a distinct smell that will help us get there? I know the smell of the river and the meadow has their own smells.. Everything have its own smell that would help guide your way to your destination." She looks towards the direction he had gestured, smiling at the sounds of the owls and the feel of the wind blowing against her body and mane. She then looked over to him with a small smile, "Are we ready, Shilah? It is a beautiful clear night for a walk." She walks closer to him so he could lead her the way.

Shilah began to walk in the direction that would eventually lead them back to his home lands. "Well it is this way, that I know." He said and laughed then he looked over at her. "Well it might be a while before we get there, is there anything that you would like to talk about on the way to make the time go by faster?" He asked curiously.

Cassie then looked at him with a small smile while saying, "How long have you been living at the beach? It must be exciting to hear the waves and see animals swimming in the ocean." She walks close by him as she didn't want to get lost.

Shilah looked at her and laughed lightly. "Well, I lived in my teepee by the beach from the time that I was in my basket. Although when I was little I did not get out of the teepee too much." He said and nodded. "And it is pretty fun at the beach, but I guess since I have lived there for most of my life I am used to it." He said and smiled laughing softly as he continued to walk.

Cassie smiled and nodded softly, "What is your favorite thing to do at the beach? I bet you like to jump over the waves?" She giggled slightly as she always wanted to do that herself. She flickers her ears back and forth for any sounds of the waves.

Shilah laughed. "Well, I used to go out in the water sometimes, but I never really went out to far to play in the waves much. That is mostly because I was still a foal and my father thought I would end up being carried off with the waves." He said and laughed again thinking about it. He looked at her. "What about you, what did you like to do as a foal?"

Cassie smiled as she listened to her friend before looking at him with a thought on her mind. "Well.. hmm.. After my mother thought she had me in my stall.. I would find a way to sneak out and watch the stars. My mother's friend, Spira who is a white tiger lion cub would make sure I didn't get hurt. I have always loved the stars since I was born. The river makes such calming sounds that would help me fall asleep on its banks." She giggled at the thought of one memory that made her smile before looking over to Shilah. "Oh, dear.. I am rambling.. Aren't I? I am sorry if I am." She looked at him with a smile.

Shilah nodded his head and smiled laughing lightly. "Oh don't worry about rambling, I don't mind. It sounds like you had a nice childhoood." He said and nodded his head lightly. He could smell the familiar scent of where he grew up and smiled.
He looked over at her. "We are almost there, it should be just around the corner." He said and nodded his head as he continued to walk towards his childhood home where he had not been at since his father had left to sort things out.

Cassie looks over to him and nodded with a blush. "Usually my ramblings get me in trouble.. I am just merely surprised that it didn't this time but thank you for the compliment. My mother said I have siblings but I haven't met them at all just yet."
When she had heard that they were there after he had sniffed the air, she begin to wonder how he would have known already. She then sniffed the air and catches a funny smell. ".. What is that smell? It smells like water.. but in a wierd way, Shilah." She then looks toward their destination but couldn't see it too well since it was still nighttime. "I simply can't wait to see the beach." She said with a thoughtful smile on her muzzle.

Shilah nodded and looked over at her. "Well, I have one sister, but the last time I saw her and my mother I was still a young foal." He said softly and nodded his head again before looking back to where he was walking.
Shilah laughed as he caught a glimspe of his teepee off in the distance. "That weird smell you are speaking of is my home." He said and shook his head lightly and laughed again.

Lonatos laid down sleeping inside the teepee next to his two-legger Kaya. He heard a sound off in the distance making him stir in his sleep waking him up. He thought it might have been his son who he had not seen and a while, but after a bit shook it off figuring why after all this time why would he be there in the middle of the night. He lower his head again and tried to go back to sleep.

Cassie nodded softly while looking over to Shilah. "I have never met my father in my whole lifetime." She sighed before looking in the direction where they are going. She gasped when she see their distination coming up already. "I guess a conversation can make time go by faster, hmm?"
She looks at him with a tilt of her head. "..The smell is your teepee? I didn't think teepees had wierd smells like that." She looks around for the beach, wondering what she may find there.

Shilah looked at her. "Well, maybe someday you will able to met the rest of you family." He said and nodded. "Yes, time does go faster when you have some one to talk to." He said in agreement.
Shilah laughed and looked at her. "Thanks for saying my home smells weird." He said sarcasticly and laughed again rolling his eyes slightly and smiled softly. "That smell is not just my teepee, it is the whole beach area. What do you think, shall we visit my teepee?"
