"Me? Absured. I have never heard any say I move when I sleep."
Her ears perked up and twitched.
She looked up at the lollipop tree. "Heh. They're ripe.." She concluded to herself. Enough bring said she already foudn herself clibing up the tree wagging her tail in concintraction. When she finally got to a branch she curled on it; looking down at him.
"Even if I did move. I wouldn't have been that active... would I? Oh.. and why would you be looking for me. Im repulsive." She gave a bright smile back down to him. She always felt that so it wasn't to be a surprise if she did say it or not.

Elenshi was so shocked and angered that he leapt to his feet as if to fight. "Repulsive?! Why would you think that? You're beautiful!" A thought occurred to him, and he very nearly growled. "Did someone try to tell you that you were repulsive? Just wait until I find them..." He actually was growling now.

"Woah?" Her ears slicked to her head. "mm.. I could see it in their eyes...- ... Its another reason they don't come near me. Im just...-" After saying so she climbed up higher spotting a red and black lollipop. It reminded her of him. This tree always seemed to pop lollipop colors of her friends. She reached over extending her paws and nails. "Gauh- grr" Shed now fix determined to get the lollipop. She digged her hind nails in to the branch and extented her body out. I can get this.. no problem. She finally grasping it and sighed happily.
-crack-
Her ears perked and she looked at the branch. "Ah-"

"Then they are idiots who could not see beauty if they tried." Hearing the crack, Elenshi glanced at the branch, worried. There was a big crack running through it - he quickly moved under it, prepared to catch Beatrice if she fell. He knew if he tried to climb the tree to get her off the branch, it would probably break before he reached her, and she would be hurt. He couldn't stand that thought.
If those fools' eyes are why her self confidence is so low... Elenshi subconsciously tensed. How could they?!

She put the pop in her mouth and looked down. She had climbed before. Higher than this in fact but... it seemed such a long way down and she could hear the cracks in the branch more clearly now. She gave in an exhale and gracefully jumped hoping she cuold catch on to another branch.
With ease she pounced off of three branches and jumped in to his paws. Her hair had slid down to one of her eyes now almost being somewhat afraid of him not liking her. Thats the thought that went through her head once she touched him. "Am...Am I... so fair to say that I- I admit to it.. I am ugly.." She mumbled under her muzzle trying to make it seem a little better now to admit it.

Elenshi caught Beatrice with a relieved smile, which gave way to a look of dismay as he heard her words.
"You are not ugly." Knowing that, judging by her refusal a few minutes ago, she probably didn't believe him, he set her down and stared straight into her eyes, hoping she would see the sincerity in them and in his heart.
"You are beautiful. And I..." He blushed and hesitated. "I..." It was far too soon. It could ruin their friendship. And he was terrified that she wouldn't believe him. How can I tell her that I love her, despite how short a time I've known her? That I have almost from the first moment I saw her! ...I thought this sort of thing didn't happen in real life, only in stories and fairytales. She probably thinks the same.

Beatrice seemed some nervous when he looked in her eyes. It seemed to her that he wanted something from her. Something deep. She could read people that easily but sometimes she can be dense and not understand true things than fake things.
She fluffed her feathers and shook her body. She nudged his face purring and plopped the lollipop in his mouth with hers. Thats how she gave people things, with her mouth like some puppy. Her tailed wagged letting go of the lollipop.
"Hm?" She tilted her head with some blush. She couldn't resist. He caught her! And that felt nice. Almost thinking that he had caught a feeling from her heart as well. Only moments and she could already be such friends with him, she liked making new friends. He seemed different though. He acted weird and she sometimes didn't understand the things he said. Her ears slicked down hoping he would like her small efforts to make him happy.
"Hai! I hope you like it!" She said giggling.

Elenshi blinked and frowned at her sudden change in topic. It took him a few moments to realize it was making her nervous. Alright then, he'd let her change the topic for now, but he would bring it up again later. He couldn't stand to leave her believing herself ugly. It hurt.
He came back to himself to realize (finally!) that she'd plopped a lollipop in his mouth. And it tasted good. And she'd put it there with her mouth.
Blinking a few more times, rather stunned, he finally spoke. "Thank you. I do like it." And then, to get back into a playful mood, he grinned. "Want to race to the top of the hill?"

Beatrice's wings fluttered when he approved. It was nice... having someone she could be around. She got to her paws in grace.
She opened her wings fully and stood in poise, "Hmm... Its not safe to run with a lollipop in your mouth.. It can cause an accident ... when I beat you." She said with a smirk.
Her tail flickered. She'd like to be active. Heh, and he seemed to be surpised when she gave him the lollipop. -maybe he likes lollipops.. Ill remember every time i see him ill get him lollipops from my tree- She thought. Her mind as sort of fixed on him. He made her think what paw to put up next or what to think next. His eyes showed something she could'nt deiefer like a puzzle... She wanted to know more about him and be around him...
As she walked close to him she nuzzled him carefully. She liked how his cheeks felt against hers ... she could smell the sweetness he gave off.. it was heart warming..

Elenshi found a twist in the tree's bark, and used it as a holder for the lollipop. wedging the stick of it deeply in. "You, beat me? Not a chance! See you when you reach the hill!"
He took off like a shot. Without changing the aim of his head, he watched the sky. He figured that Beatrice would try to beat him in the race by flying, and he wanted to see her beautiful wings in action. He had to blink rapidly, though, it was nearly noon and the sun was directly overhead.
He had confidence he would win, however. He and one of Kalietha's other strange friends, Torin, had raced almost daily when they were younger, and he had kept running for the fun of it since. He knew he was fast.

Beatrice lagged after the darted sprint he made. Her paws moved gracefully in motion to quickness. She knew that made he'd win... But she wanted to give her all. She liking taunting but otherwise knew that she wasn't too great at any one thing. She looked at trees for a moment.
An idea brightened in her head. "Got it!" She said and she pounced on the tree and pushed herelf to the others side to side from tree to tree. Her wings opened wide to catch the wind so she wouldn't fall; but that was the only thing she could use them for... semi gliding she thought. She grabbed on to a tree and from pouncing over to the other she counted how many she needed to go before reaching the top of the hill.
Sun overlooked the dazed sky and the light hit her wings in asortment. Almost like if her wings were on fire...
With one more leap she took she let her wings glide her down... a female who couldn't fly. She wondered if she had gotten there before him or not, she saw the ground getting closer and she was scared of him seeing the defect in her. She hoped with al her might that she would land just once this time...

Elenshi was so busy watching the sky for Beatrice that he wasn't really paying attention to where he was going. As a result, he hit a rock and went tumbling head over heels.
"Gack!"
As he got back up, he caught a glimpse of Beatrice leaping from a tree about fifty feet ahead - and for a moment just sat there, stunned by the beauty of her wings in the sunlight. Then he realized that he was behind - and with a start began running again, putting all of his speed and strength into it. Much as he might care for Beatrice, a race was a race! And for him that was always at least a little bit of a serious thing for him.
As he neared the crown of the hill - this time actually watching where he was going - he saw Beatrice's shadow, and realized that he was directly under her. They were effectively neck and neck!

She didn't know that he was under her for her eyes were closed shut from thinking she was going to crash. With a slight gasp of air she held in her wings folded in and she plummeted down.
She felt something. Something soft but her eyes were slit shut that she could'nt open them for she knew she had fell.
Was he watching!? I hope he didnt see me... Did I land on a bush.. I cant feel my wings...
Her head felt dizzy from the fall, How shameful it was to fall from the sky...

"Oomph!"
Elenshi sprawled to the ground as something soft hit him. Twisting his head around he saw it was Beatrice - and realized that it was his fault, for getting underneath her as she was landing. He didn't know much about flight, but he'd guess that it was rather hard to change direction or intent once you began to land.
"I'm sorry...Didn't mean to get in your way..."

Beatrice opened her eyes. His voice came in to her ear like sticks and stones. Her white cheeks had flushed out a thick pink. Embarrassed not only that she had fallen. But fallen on him! She turned over to him sliding off.
"I-I- Sorry! Sorry! Gomene! Perdoname!!!" She exclaimed and hugged around his neck.
Whether she knew or not that she was hurt. She snuggled close because of her utter way of flying she couldn't look him in the face. Just seeking comfort. She tried to open her wings but. She couldn't. Something had ached there and she just could not open them. She tried more and she let out a squeel and snuggled her nose in his fur.
