Konai_Neto No, humans probably wouldn't do that, we are learning. In the next few generations we should have this planeto on the road to recovery...possibly... I wish...but I doubt it very highly. The planet's already half-dead anyway. It'd be nice to see more people who actually care, though...

Agreed, but thik about what is taught in schools these days, at least in America. We are taught to recycle constantly, and every year, sometimes twice a year, people come in to talk aobut how important the planet is. If it is really drilled into the kids heads they will pass it down to thier kids, and so on and so forth. So you never know.

Well, some kids. And some kids are told that money justifies anything and everything.

Well... this world was nice enough to let us survive this long, shouldn't we at least try to repair the damage we've done before we leave? sweatdrop

Quantum chromdynamics entertains for days! In 1957, Hugh Everett III proposed a radical new way of dealing with some of the more perplexing aspects of quantum mechanics. It became known as the Many-Worlds Interpretation. According to this interpretation, whenever numerous viable possibilities exist, the world splits into many worlds, one world for each different possibility (in this context, the term "worlds" refers to what most people call "universes"). In each of these worlds, everything is identical, except for that one different choice; from that point on, they develop independently, and no communication is possible between them, so the people living in those worlds (and splitting along with them) may have no idea that this is going on. In this way, the world branches endlessly. What is "the present" to us, lies in the pasts of an uncountably huge number of different futures. Everything that can happen, does, somewhere. Until Many-Worlds appeared, the generally accepted interpretation of quantum mechanics was (and perhaps still is) the Copenhagen Interpretation. The Copenhagen Interpretation makes a distinction between the observer and the observed; when no one is watching, a system evolves deterministically according to a wave equation, but when someone is watching, the wavefunction of the system "collapses" to the observed state, which is why the act of observing changes the system. The Copenhagen Interpretation gives the observer special status, not accorded to any other object in quantum theory, and cannot explain the observer itself, while Many-Worlds models the entire observer-observee system. The Many-Worlds Interpretation is an interpretation of quantum mechanics, and pertains to quantum events. But it also has implications for macroscopic systems like you and me. Although you may think that there are certain alternatives you would never choose, can you really be sure of that? There are a practically infinite number of versions of you, who have all split off at some time in the past from the path you are now following. There may be versions of you that split off five or ten years ago, or perhaps five minutes after you were born, to whom those choices may not seem unthinkable. But in a very real sense, those people are still "you" (but it can be argued that we should not use the word "are", or even "were"; we need to invent a new kind of tense...)(Future perfect! xd ) What sort of possible worlds do you find interesting? Do you think dark matter or quasars may forge a way to these supposed worlds? If so to what purpose?

I think that the conditional present perfect should do fine in this case: would have been. This person would have been you, had he been part of this universe.

Behold the universe. Behold man has conquered earth. Behold mankind conquers the Solar System. Behold mankind conquers the Milky Way. Behold mankind conquers The Great Galactical Rift which prevents travel between galaxies. And finally behold that mankind has indeed conquered the entire universe.
Now does anyone have objections, fellow guild members?

Meh. We'll never even make it to a level 4 civilization before we kill ourselves.

And what exactly is a level 4 civilization to be classified that way?

Stupidity is an epidemic. It is contagious, and there is no cure. However, duct tape to the mouth may slow its spreading.

Kimone Konai_Neto No, humans probably wouldn't do that, we are learning. In the next few generations we should have this planeto on the road to recovery...possibly... I wish...but I doubt it very highly. The planet's already half-dead anyway. It'd be nice to see more people who actually care, though... I agree, at the rate this planets going we could end up in world war 3, Every country basically wants nuclear weapons. just because every 'economical strong' country does. I mean if we didn't have them there wouldn't be a problem. Especially since if they all went off this planet would no longer be in existance or at least none of the life forms, and then what. If the Us government at the time when Einstein lived in the Us, and hadn't asked him to make the Atomic bomb, we wouldn't have the nuclear weapons we have today Then we got the Us president starting wars on false pretenses and expects every other country in the UN to back him up. Um NO! We do not want another WORLD WAR!!!! Then people who support that president getting mad at Canada, for not backing them up. We''ll excuse me that it's not in Canada's best intrest to be in a War. Yes of course we want to stop Terrorism but Hello?? War?? More people have died as a result now because of the war than the amount of people being killed by Saddam Houssain. Then a decade ago the UN had the chance to get rid of Saddam Houssain but said no!! Like what the heck was wrong with them, they were right on his doorstep basically they could have gone in and arrested them right then and there but no the UN said no. If they had said yes NONE of what was going on today would have happened and it would have been for the best. But of course our planet's too stupid. Canada is nearly on the brink of Economic downfall, thanks to a Certain scandal our Prime Minister and former Minister of Finiance, supposedly knew nothing about . yeah right. He was the finance minister and he didn't notice that millions and millions of dollars were dissappearing??? hmm.....I wonder.....LIAR!!! How could he not have noticed?? so now our country's economy is going down the drain, the budgets going to be soo low now because at least a billion dollars is gone i think they said it was 6 billion in total i can't remember. we already had a debt before now what, how the hell do they think they're going to be able to get all that back. IF that's not bad enough, the majority of the people of Canada have lost faith in the government, and the stupid politicians keep supporting him. Instead of going with the Vote of No Confidence, how can politicians be representing the people if they keep supporting a government the people no longer have faith in?! I think that's all i got for now. hmm... i think i may have started a debate, i don't know. if i have i'd rather not debate it here. just pm me. and we can debate over pm. i love to debate, i think i might eventually become a politician myself.(probably not.) but yeah. i've never really ranted that much before it's nice to get out of my system. lol.

Why can't we all just get along? It's horrible that we attack each other for no good reason!

we can't get along because the people of today's world are pig-headed, and filled with prejudice, hatred, discrimination, racism etc.
