Kari rested her head against Hasidi while he though about thought about their plans. Her own mind was focussed on how much she loved him, and with slight bitterness on how it might not be so readily accepted. She'd met a few who didn't even hesitate about the idea, and Hasidi loved her, and that was more than enough for her. She was a bit surprised to have her attention pulled towards the sea.
"We should," she agreed, stepping back to look at Hasidi, "You're perfect the way you are, but learning never hurts. We'll learn together, ok?" She laughed quietly.

He licked the side of her cheek gently and flashed a weavering smirk. "You'll be there for ever and always, and I'll be here forever and always..you wont.." he paused struggling to find the proper words, "My mom died..and I couldn't handle you..you..doing the same..So we'll be together, and we'll live happily ever after like in..in cubtales..right?" he suddenly found himself on the verge of tears.
That morning he had felt so strong, and his hormones raged, he felt like a brave warrior, and now? Like the little lost Hasidi had started out as, he had never wanted something so much in his entire life the way he wanted Kari to be his lover, and stay. If Kari left or..did the thing he refused to say, he knew he wouldn't last very long, he wouldn't heal very well.

Kari smiled at him when he licked her on the cheek, noticing the waver in the smile and the strange tone to his words as he explained his worries. Her smile faded away and was replaced with a frown. She'd never been entirely sure about what happened to Hasidi's family, but now she could guess easier.
"I won't be going anywhere, Hasidi," she said reassuringly in a involuntarily hushed voice, "Of course we'll live happily ever after." She reached over and licked him affectionately and reassuringly on the cheek. She knew that she would not handle him disappearing, by whatever means, very well- but she had no immediate worries of such a thing happening. If he was worried about it, why would he leave? She trusted that he would stay.

He nodded adn tried his best to push the thougths from his mind, he wasn't going to dwell on somthing that at the moment was under control. The fear of losing one you love is strong, but like the healing lionness person said you have to do things in the here and now, because once you're dead it is way too late, "So onward to the sea?"
He scooted as close to her as he could, soaking in her warmth and smelling her fur, savor today, right?

Kari simply smiled at Hasidi, and rested her head on him when he came closer. She knew they had to get going, but she was content to stay where they were right now. They were happy, and while they could be happy anywhere, it was nice and comfortable here.
"If you say so," she said with a small laugh.

"We don' t have to go...but that was the plan, and plans are best followed.. So, let's get moving," with a sigh he added, "There will be much resting along the way for my leg."
This morning, this moment was so perefect, and he had to ruin it by crying. There was still a glimmer of tears in his eyes, and the thougth was still ebbing at the back of his mind.
"Sorry for ruining our perfect moment... I really do mean the best." He flashed a grin and made a motion that said soon he would be standing and expected her to do the same.

Kari sighed reluctantly, though with a smile on her face and the knowledge that he was right. She circled around him until she was at his side, and licked him on the cheek reassuringly, again. "You didn't ruin anything," she said, "Let's get going."
