Speedy Trip!
Today started out so well. Aitumn set off for Ryuten to get some fruit and such for us all, especially for Tucker to try, and we were to spend time together upon his return. So, Tucker decided that it was a good time to play tag, so we did. During our innocent game, however, all hell broke loose when the sonofanag Zak came crashing out of nowhere.
Luckily Tucker had the sense -- maybe it's instincts? -- to run, and to run to where Aitumn always leaves to on his way to Ryuten. The giant brute nearly squashed me, though we both managed to get a few good hits in. He would've gone running after Tucker, but having tails such as mine is a blessing in situations like this. I managed to snag them around his hindlegs and maybe a foreleg so he couldn't go anywhere. Unfortunately, that meant he'd just stay and squash me like a bug, which... wasn't fun in the least. Neither is having a giant fat aeri who's a foot taller than you at LEAST falling on you. I'm still sore.
But, Tucker managed to get away and Aitumn came to save the day, though he was dealt a few good kicks to the head. Well, Zak ran off after that, which was good. After checking each other over, we started heading towards where he'd left Tucker. I couldn't believe he'd leave Tucker alone, until he told me he didn't.
He'd left him with my mother. My mother, who I hadn't seen in probably years. I was in even more disbelief, but it was wonderful seeing her again after so long. I could hardly believe my eyes, but we sat and talked about things. The past, my father, the git that separated us and how she 'repaid' him, and the green brute. She said it'd be best we left the tree now, especially since Zak knows where it is. He's found it twice now, and the second time I know wasn't by accident.
