Watching all the pups that seemed to appear from nowhere, Temari smiled kindly and felt her heart burn with jealousy. They were all healthy little pups that seemed to have such love in their hearts, it made the golden female at one time happy for her friend and at another jealous because she would never have a real family herself. Her family was broken and scattered and it was all her fault, her eldest son from her second litter was blind and sick and it was because of her tainted blood, her sickness, that he suffered so.
Inwardly shaking her head and slapping herself, Temari lifted her eyes to her old friend again and gave her a soft and very genuine smile. It was good to see her friend and good to see that she was happy with a large and bright family of her own. She deserved it after all, deserved all the pups and deserved to be happy, she'd been such a frightened little female back when they'd last seen one another.
"It has been a long time hasn't it?" Temari said in her voice thickened by sickness, "I'm glad to find you so well and with so many little pups running around here. I'm happy for you."
It was true, she was, even if she was jealous deep down she was happier for her friend than she was jealous or upset at herself. Like always Temari put her friends before herself and her wants. It wasn't Yakuti's fault after all.

Ajabu grumbled and dragged his paws all the way to his mother, looking up at her with eyes full of nothing. For him, there was nothing that entrtained him for long. He felt like he was a leader with no followers, different in a bad way. He wasn't going to pretend to make his parents happy. Ajabu would be himself.
"Hello mother." He said bored. What was there to talk about with her or any of his siblings? Almost nothing. He was different and there was no way to change that.
