I see no reason to have to put a "how to make a character" guide up here unless Kurai wanted to. Like she said, there is a perfectly good one stickied already.

There are other ways to improve your writing. The best advice I can offer is read. Find a good book, one that you can enjoy, and study how it is put together. Ask yourself:
How does the author start his sentences?
How does the author describe the characters?
How do the characters interact with others?
What type of vocabulary is used?
And keep things fresh. Don't start every sentence off the same way. It gets boring when every sentence starts off with "Lucian, Lucian, Lucian, He, He, He, His, His, Lucian, He, Lucian, Lucian... so he, then he, but he, so..."
{Lucian; -_o Why are you using me as an example? Did I give you permission?!}
I don't know how you would describe that though. oO Study transition words?
