Adrian had turned as the door opened and watched the newcomer stroll in. He grinned at her, flashing her a peace sign, "The name's Adrian. Happy New Year to you, too."
A thought came to the man's mind and he swept over to the couch where the lady had sat. "I know that we've barely been introduced," he said as he sank to one knee, continuing with all sincerity, but barely keeping a straight face, "however, will you do me the honor of bearing my children?"
This, he realized somewhat belatedly, could end really, really badly.

If Moo was at all surprised by the question, she didn't show it. Actually, she had probably been expecting something like this, considering it was Kanth's friend. Without batting an eye, she offered a cheerful smile, reaching forward to 'comfortingly' pat Adrian's cheek. "Sorry, hun, I'm taken. But it's nice to meet you, anyway."
Glancing up, she turned her gaze to Kanth, smile growing to a teasing grin. "This your dear prince?"

Standing to his feet, Adrian grinned, "Oh, good. No hard feelings, then, aye?" He did his best to ignore Kanth, who was surely non-plussed by his antics.

"Unfortunately. And I could smack him for all of the women - and men - he's chased after." Kanth smacked his forehead, shaking his head sadly.
Erae hugged Acia tightly, grinning. "Everyone's here! Well, except Sid!" He danced for a small bit, then sat down on the ground. "Anyone want to play cards?"

*LP pondered watching him 'bout to bust out laughing. She waited to see moo's reaction* .... *she then snickered, her face turning red.* not how I'd answer that moo but, that's just the difference between me and you. *she looked at him* Dude *she looks at adrian. Her brow lofted* you always that implusive or did someone spike the drink you had before you came here?
*Apon hearing prince she was about to bust out laughing again.* you'll have to forgive me. My amusement is easily matched tonight.... *looking at kanth* I've brought you and ar gifts... dun have any of your friends.... brought one for ana and erae to. I'll hand 'em out later thou, if that's okay.
*Cards.... now how was she suppose to do that? Willow looked at Erae with a questioning stare. She didn't have oppisable thumbs, or else she would have nodded she would love to play. Thou if they do play she'd just have to watch.*

"No hard feelings," Moo echoed, laughing. "And it's nice to meet you, Adrian. I'm Moo." Turning back to Kanth, she grinned, shrugging. "Oh, I dunno. I like his methods more than yours. Straight forward asking, you know? And then it's over with. Whereas you don't give up."
"I'm sure Sid'll turn up sooner or later," Acia replied confidently. She couldn't help but giggle at the 'dance', shrugging and sitting down as well at the suggestion. "Sure, I don't see why not. Whatcha wanna play?"

Adrian bowed slightly, "Nice to meet you, as well, Moo."
"'Tch," Adrian clicked as he walked over and stood next to Kanth, propping his arm on the man's shoulder and leaning there. "Ya know you love me. And you only hurt~ the ones you love~!" he chorused, ducking away quickly and approaching the lady with violet hair. He bowed low, taking her hand and kissing the back of it, saying, "I haven't touched a drop of drink for as long as I can remember." He stood and grinned over at Kanth, "Then again, that's not saying much, is it?"

*This time is was a short and rather unamused laugh as he kissed the back of her hand.* Aye? Is that so? *she took from her pocket a rag and then a dagger and started to polish it her eyes in a cold stare. Much like that of willows on some occasions. Clearly not that impressed with mannors* I suppose it's not much when your speaking to an ex-demon that can't remember much of her past lifes yet only remember as far as a year ago. *she couldn't help but feel slightly.... uneasy around this Adrian. Atleast when he was within her hand's reach.* If you would. I'd suggest you keep your hands to yourself sir. Strangers I'd rather keep their distance until one's learned a great deal about them. Tis only fair after all. Such implusive behavior reflects badly on one's self. Not to mention my short tempers sometime.

"LP, do to him whatever you wish. I'm not his guardian anymore." Kanth's eyes twinkled mischeviously as he sat down next to Moo, again, ignoring her comments, and watching both LP and Adrian 'duke it out'.
Erae took out a deck of cards and dealt all of them out. "Hearts. I'm guessing everyone knows how to play, right? Right right?" He beamed around the velvets.

Adrian bowed to her again, "My apologies, milady. I'll not bother you further." Put back in his place, the former prince backed off silently, his former grin melting away as his lips pressed into a line. He glanced briefly at Kanth, trying not to glare at the look in his eyes. Adrian decided to find a nice spot at the window and stood against the wall, staring out at the street.
((Might have to leave, as well, sorry to say. Would not be good to have the parentals realize I'm on-line past midnight. -_-))

*LP smiled a soft smile at kanth and gave a nod* Aye, thank you for your permission kanth I will keep that.... *she paused for a dramatic effect looking at Adrian with a demonish smile* ... in mind. *Peering at him* thou I am rather interested in how you two *she waved a hand at kanth and adrian* Met if you wouldn't mind so much as to tell a tale? *She had to seem atleast a bit friendly towards him. Didn't want to chase him away yet....*

*Willows head shook a no, and then held up her paw trying to point out it was hard for one of her limited talents to play card games. Seeing as she had no thumb. But... come to think of it LP did have a board game she could play. She nudged erae and almost pranced over to her owner's bag which was set on the floor. And tried to drag it over. Or atleast unzip it so she could try and get the game out. Heading back to erae wanting help.*
