I'll have to actually go out and pick up the manga after all I guess.
I glanced at the first volume, saw a lot of it was about Hugo and put it back down. Hugo's storyline was really the one I enjoyed the least when playing the game so I didn't want to spend money on a manga about it.
But if it moves on the other characters stories in the later volumes I'll have to get it after all. Thanks for the info about it.

I got all that was out so far in Japanese when I visited Japan. Read them too. They are SO GOOD!!! xd The art is wonderful, and it's great that the artist tries to include most of the characters. I really like how the story is coming along; it's similar to the game for the most part, but the author's original twists and changes only makes it better. I think the last book dealt with Jimba vs Luc... I thought it was nicely done.

I have yet to get my volume 3. I am so deprived of it this month. whee
Right now, I've got volumes one and two and (as I stated) I need my 3. It gets me closer to Vol 5. *huggles Luc, shoves him at Sasarai and runs off in stupid fangirl whirl of joy*

I've read the suikoden manga and I have a few of the japanese ones. I was so happy that they decided to translate it! I like how the story differs from the game. I mean, if you've already played it, then it won't be that much fun reading it. It keeps my attention to see how they potray different events.

I have the first 6 volumes of it in Chinese [[I think that's all that's been released so far -including in Japan]]
I LOVE the art XD
If I had the time I wish I could scan every page of it LOL
There's this really hysterical part where Geddoe and his gang are drunk somewhere[forgot where] and their rivals walk in
XD OMG...Jacques does the funniest thing
Xp in the game he doesn't enter the bar with Geddoe and everyone but in the manga... XD

I can't find the third book anywhere yet crying
I am loving the manga though, and I like the extra stuff thrown into the story. Adds some new information to the characters, tis nice. xd

When I first saw the Suikoden Manga, I was like, Oh Yay! Suikoden manga!! And then I started to read it, and saw it was mostly the game over again. That was kind of a turn off. But still, the art was so cool, and I loved the game, so, now I am going to go back and buy them. I think they should do mangas of all of the Suikoden Games. That would be really cool, in my opinion.
