"Aside from that, I have met mortals that arent superficial as to only look skin-deep."
"But anyways, even if you had your brother's eyes, would that make you happy?" She said doubtfully. "Normal? The only thing you'd be doing is masquerading your true form. If you wanted a fake appearance, gods can take that form easily. I know I've done it on a occassion or two."
At the arupt change of subject, she blinked her eyes. "..Ohyes. I understand where their coming from, but understanding, doesnt quench my desire to meet them." She said wistfully, staring briefly into the sky.

"Perhaps you are right," Katana'k said simply with a smile. "Perhaps it is best we appear how we are meant to be, rather then hide behind what we are not, yes,yes, you are quite right in that. I was given this form for a reason, whether it be from my domain, mother and father, I am what I am, I shouldn't change for others you are quite right."
He flicked his tail and smiled, she was quite an interesting one, he hadn't met one quite like her before. "You seem so knowledgeable in many things Goddess of Dreams, though that is the only title I know of you, would you allow me to know your name?"

"I am not knowledgable at all." She shook her head. "That was merely learnings and teachings from others -- mixed in partially with what I thought however, it's not to say that you arent smart either." She gazed at him thoughtfully. "You appeared to have gotten that message long beforehand, before I said it."
"My name Is Khari, Katana'k." She said smoothly "Goddess of Dreams, at the service of pride." She feigned a bow and a cutsy before her eyes met those of Katana'k.

Katana'k smiled at her. Why couldn't others be as kind as this goddess? Pride was a strange thing to deal with when having to approach others to help them with it. To tell another that they have little pride in themselves was awkward most of the time, or to try and bring down someone's pride a bit because it was boosting their ego was awkward as well.
"At teh service of? No my dear Khari, do not feel any obligation towards me,"he said with a nod, he didn't want her to feel like she needed to do anything for him. "I rather enjoy your company, to be not alone is a great deal to me." wait..had he said that before? His mind boggled, his memory was bad at some points.
"I do have a question for you though, do dreams have hidden meanings?" he wondered it all the time, sometimes his dreams made no sense at all.

"I am always, at the service of anyone and everyone who needs me." Her eyes twinkled. "You are not the first, and certainly not going to be the last, but I will feel obligation, at my own choosing."
"But thank you. Your company, brings pleasure to this day as well. Loneliness - is a sad thing, which is why others choose companionship, and friends. " Her gaze melachony - as she remembered in her previous travels, the god of loneliness. However, even he had managed to find someone in his life, and she was happy for him.
Tilting her head, her eyes puzzled at the sudden question, she chose her words carefully. "Dreams.. are of your sub-conscious, and there will be times, when your body -- or even fate, if it allows, will want to tell you something that you alone cannot figure out. I imagine that dreams can have a meaning when you feel that it does."

Katana'k felt a somewhat flattery that Khari would feel obligated to help him if he ever required it. He had never been offered such a thing before, it was something that touched him, that a complete stranger would offer to help him if he could with her powers of her realm, when even his own flesh and blood never offered such a thing.
It was an eye-opener somewhat, and Katana'k would always remember her words.
"Yes, perhaps, then my dreams have a lot to say to me evidently, though I think if their are unpleasant, dreams, not just nightmares, that have to do with fate, can those be changed?" he was curious, several dreams he had were unpleasant, and he hoped he could change the possible outcome of them if they had to do with real life.

"Your fate is guided by your own choices. I alway believed that you made your own fate, like how the saying goes? You made your bed, and now you lie within it?" She made a gesture with her paw, causing the jewelery she wore to chime softly.
"For you, your dreams may serve as warnings, so you can simple make different choices. Dreams for others, are another reality that they use to escape their current one, and others can vary to fatasized situations and more. Its different within every being, but I believe that your dreams can guide you. " She gave a slight blush. "I'm sorry if that bored you. I can be quite long-winded at times."

"No,no, it did not bore me, what you say is true, and your voice is quite lovely, do not worry, I can ramble on for long periods of time as well Khari." Katana'k smiled and shifted a bit, to make himself a bit more comfortable. Sometimes it was hard finding a position that did not cause his paws to fall asleep, due to the weight of the armor upon his forelegs right next to his second pair of wings, that was hard sometimes.
So it goes.
His white eyes settled on her, and he smiled, truly they were opposites of one another, but the same in some ways. It was nice to jsut be in the company of another.

"But I'm sure your rambling is enjoyable. After all, our conversation so far, in no aspect was boring or not to be enjoyed. We're two sides of a coin on talking." She said, chuckling. Noticing Katan'k's movements, she adjusted her own position. Pleased, that the conversation would go on, even if it was just a bit, longer.
Her blue eyes, a trifle bit puzzled at the moment, stared back at Katana'k's eyes, and she gave a smile in return. "May I ask you to be my friend?"

"My rambling is just ramblings of my voice, usually nothing more then just my voice wanting to just be heard for no reason at all," he said with a slight chuckle. Yes, he could ramble on and on, usually, he just heard his voice, not the words that he spoke, sometimes he was like that, not even paying attention to what he said. Though, right now, he was, being in Khari's company was quite enjoyable. "Though I am glad I am not being boring to you."
"Friend? You don't have to ask, of course, that'd be nice..." how many friends DID he have anyway? Not many, not many at all, though Khari as a friend, that'd be nice. She said she enjoyed his company, which he believed would be a rare thing.

"Rambling is a sign of knowledge, I'd like to justify it with." She laughed. "If one didnt have knowledge, they would not have anything to ramble on about." Pleased at the comment he directed to her, she nodded."Boring is the self-pompous people who only like to talk about themselves. I assure you, I'm quite easy to please at most things." Recalling, she wondered if this had been one of the first times, she had someone to converse with on this type of level. It was enjoyable, much more with a kinder god that understood what they both went through.
"Okay! We'll be called friends from now on." She said affirmatively. She loved making new friends, new connections and bonds to others, that she would meet someday again in life.

Katana'k offered her a smile. Never would he have thought that he would meet a goddess so nice and intereting, so nice to be within the company of, and to have a friend in them. Truly remarkable to him, he could hardly believe. He wondered if his brother ever did such a thing, he doubted it, he doubted it whole heartedly, his brother, he didn't believe was capable of many things. "I must say, today has probably been one of hte better days I've had in a long, long time, I thank you for that my friend."

Khari has a slight blush, pleased by Katana'k's words. "I must say the same. Life is full of ups and downs, but I must say that these is one of the most higher ups." She stood up, her wings fluttering slightly as if to dust themselves off, and Khari taking a few steps to approach Katana'k giving him a soft nuzzle as a gesture of friendship.
Pulling back, another sight has distracted her. The sun was setting already? Ohmy. Khari felt dismayed, as that would mean leaving Katana'k. She turned to face him once again, and in a apologetic tone, "I guess this is a goodbye. We'll meet again, right?"
(( I sorta ended it if it was okay with you? o3o;; Sorry my RPing sucks right now. I havent RP'ed Khari in months D:~))

Katana'k would've shown a slight blush himself, he'd never had that sort of intimate contact with anyone, anyone. He couldn't remember the last time something like this even happened to him. Strange, though his black pelt hid his slightly reddened cheeks. "I guess so.." he said in a lower tone, he didn't want it to be good-bye. Wait, why? So confusing, emotions confused him so.
"Of course," he said with a nod, a smile, "Our paths will cross again, I'm sure of it," with that he returned her gesture, a nuzzle against her cheek, pulled back and turned away and took a few steps. His massive wings were pulled upon his back, tonight he would walk. "I'll see you again...be sure of it..." with that he walked on, even though he didn't really want to. The night's shadows seemed to engulf him, and in an instant...he was gone...
