Lyrically Adagio

I have read it a good number of times in English. To be able to read Le Petit Prince and The Phantom of the Opera in their native tongues are actually among the main reasons I am learning French.

(And, goodness! The French keyboard is really quite different than the U.S one...)

I've only heard good things about this book and I hope to eventually read the French version (Although I'll have to study up before hand).
But if it's written in so many languages I think I'll try and find a Spanish version of it in the meantime!

XD It's just not the same in a translated version, I'd say.

I love this book. I like the elephant-in-snake picture and the sheep... but my most favorite is this one User Image

Now that you mention it, I wanted to read it again. Maybe I'll try the English version...

That reminds me, I really need to read it again...last time I did I was pretty young so I couldn't really absorb it. I think I'll try it in French...once I know more! xD It can be a real pain to read anything longer than a poem or maybe a short story when I have to keep checking my trusty dictionary.

Le Petit Prince, that was the first real book we read in French class. It's such an amazing book. I loved how although it was not a bad book for children, there were even more messages in it for the older reader. It can teach people of almost any age group lessons, while still proving itself easy enoguh to read. And it's so charming.

I've read it in German. There are allegedly English and French versions somewhere in the garage, but I can't seem to find them.

My favorite bit was when he talks about his beloved flower.

Ive never read the book =/

But in this international thread, on Gaia, they have recorded it in several languages..I dont get why its so important..but eh.
