I just got back from going into town with my mother...
last night i had gone in with my father and we went to office max.
When i went there last night with my father, i asked him if i could get a USB port, he kinda agreed, which meant that I had to explain why i needed it and why it was useful and what it did. I did all that, and he said to get the one I wanted... Then a lady that worked there came up and ruined the whole thing by showing him one that was a 4gb, i wanted a 2gb one, that was half the price of the other one. But my problem was, the one i got and the one i wanted (lol they're the same one) has a slide out port, and the one she showed us has a cap. I'm sure that i'd loose the cap in a few days, and most have the part that you connect it to on the cap... which means id loose the whole port! So then after that whole thing my dad wouldn't buy the one i wanted. and i got angry and threw a fit... lol from a 17year old!
So today we went back with my mom, and i think that lady regonized me, because i was wearing my letterman's jacket again, and we were talking about the 1gb of the same type of USB port that was on sale. So then after we found out that they were out of the ones that were on sale, and they weren't able to order more before the sale ended, he said that you could get any other 1gb of any of the others for the same price. then my mom explained that i liked the part that slide out, so he went and asked his boss, and she came out, i almost died, it was the same woman! then she said that we could get it for $10 more than the sale price (getting the 2gb i mean) so we did that.
Later we calculated it out and found out he had gotten it at 1/3 the price!
we also checked the price and sale price of the 1gb and that was also 1/3 the price, so we basically got the same percentage off...
Im very happy... and the moral of the story is, "put up a big enough stink and you will get what you want!" lol, not always true, mind you

Kind of confusing but yeah I got the moral of the story. ^^ It's great that you still got what you want but as for my case, If I end up bitching, I usually don't get what I want. Well unless there's a very good reason for me to get angry that is.

At first it was great but then I got all bored for the four of them (my mom and her officemate and their husbands) kept on talking leaving me out. I thought it will be fun for I thought the sons of her officemate will be there and I'll get someone that is of my age that I can talk to. But oh well, all sucks.
Anyways, I kept my patience and when her officemate left, I told them that I want to go home. At least I end up not ruining their day and eventually get what I wanted with much waiting. >.<

I'm the oldest. I have a younger sister. Yeah both of us are girls so I have little exposure to how boys behave. How about you?
