The Doctor Dances
I didn't hate L&M except for one bit.

the abzorbaloff.... didnt have a name, but claimed to be from clom, which is supposedly the sister planet to raxicoricofallipatorius (spelled that out of my head)

yet the doctor had no idea what he was... I dunno

whatever.

I reeeeeeeally didn't like tooth and claw, I dunno, were wolves just dont do it for me.

Tooth and Claw wasn't too bad... I really didn't like fear her though. I
hope series three is a bit more... well... more.

Ahah, bad news, it's... >> Earth based again, they went on about this rubbish that 'it costs too much' etc etc etc. B-S in my opinion, it never stopped them before...

Alien planets are so much more interesting.
That was hardly a spoiler anyway, ... I don't think, news of that was out aaaages ago. But some people don't like spoilers... I have a friend who doesn't even know who Martha is.

Anyway. ... um... I can't even remember what this thread is about. So I think its better if I just... kinda... go.

Of course I don't, by the time I've finished writing my reply, there's an 80% chance I've forgotten what the thread is about!

Bleh. Love and Monsters... not so great. It had a lot of good moments, but it was just missing something. I wonder what...

Oh, that's right. THE PROTAGONIST! Which is also why I didn't like that Christmas one. I don't know the title, but... the Christmas one. Not that bad, but the lack of protagonist... bleh.

Yeah, most of the episodes had something in it I didn't like, but it's generally only small things that they throw in to please kiddies and stuff (girl in the fireplace, when he jumps through the window on the horse... xp )

But in general I'd have to agree with most people that Love and Monsters was the worst. Just ... the monster and the fart jokes and th... yeah. You know.
exuse me? I really like that scene!!! that horse was AWSOME!!! > biggrin

Actually: Spoiler alert... There are at least two alien planets in the next series. One is visited in Episode 3 and the other is called Malcassairo. This information courtesy of RTD's Production Notes column in DWM 378. biggrin

rofl That's exactly what happens! He spends three fourths of the episode out like a light and then he starts acting like he's got to make up for lost time. But, still, it worries me that he's just lying there looking all peaky. And I like it when he talks, too.

Oh, you're talking about The Christmas Invasion?
Yeah, it drove me nutters that he wasn't in half of it. But it gets funny when he starts talking. Especially about who he is. And the whole "...from the day they step onto the planet, and blinking, step into the sun, there is more to be seen than can ever be seen, more to do than...wait, hold on, that's the Lion King.....but the point still stands !!"
xd xd
His Scottish-ness is awesome too. XDD

Yeah, that part was a bit un-real. And that's saying something.

Actually RTD knew he was going to put flamethrowers and things in, he just couldn't work out how. He mentioned them in the plan for Series Two which was reprinted in the DWM Special. The whole "robot Santas as a brass band" came from him seeing a band like that in St Anne's Square in Manchester in December 2004.

I was worried about the Doctor too, but you've got to admit David looks cute when he's out cold! Not that he doesn't all the time, I hasten to add!
