What I have heard is that she might cut the epilouge out of the seventh book and writting an epilouge book about the "living" charcters. No Harry wil not die think about all the books you've ever read and what is the precentage of the main charcters have actually died?

dawnee The final chapter, which has already been written, will detail what happens to the characters that survive. so she wont need an eight book MAN THAT SUCKS!!!! I really was hoping for an eighth book... crying

if she writes about all the survivors in her epilogue....dont you wonder how many characters she will kill in that case?

There's always the possibility, but she only said she's writing 7, so don't get your hopes too high. I do hope she writes an eighth, but I'm not expecting it.

A lot of people are going to die. It is the war. So, naturally, people will die. I'm betting maybe a Weasley or two. And ghosts stay behind because they are to attached to the living world a.k.a. hate someone to much, love someone to much, need to extract revenge. That sort of thing. And I personally think that Harry will re-find the Mirror of Erised and see his parents/Dumbledore/Sirius/ and anybody else who dies in the war.
