Glissa winced as the burning sensation spread throughout her body and bit her lip, her fang piercing her skin and causing a small trickle of blood to run down.
"You worthless... mortal scum..." she choked through the pain.
"You honestly think you are my equal? I..." She was unable to finish her sentence as Kirai slung her over his shoulder and took off running through the rest of the manner.

Back in the healer's room, Glissa's father was getting to his feet. Just then a booming voice roared in the room.
"Stop Navali. Let her go. I will not have to destroy the most beautiful blossom of our court. She has not disgraced us by going to the surface. Where as you have failed by letting a mere mortal mutt escape our kingdom!!!" Navali dropped to his knees and placed his head on the floor.
"Forgive me, your excellency!!! I have failed you!!!"
"And you shall pay for your failure."

Kirai Stood at the door of the portal that led to the laughing hyena. He looked back at Glisa, answering her statements.
"No..I dont think I am your equal. But then again, I think itd be pretty damn boring without somebody stronger than me to fight back at tenshi.."
He opened the door and stepped through, into the wine cellar of the laughing hyena.
