Ki-Ki smiled up at Ama as he nuzzled her shoulder, rolling to her feet and shaking the dust from her coat, then affectionately bumping shoulders with him. It wasn't nice to have favourites among one's siblings, she supposed, but if she had to pick.. she liked Ama better. He wasn't... annoying. Of course, being the only girl, she privately thought of herself as more important and better than them, but they were all right, she supposed.
Sitting next to Ama, she blinked as their mother high-tailed it away, cocking her head. If they were supposed to catch and find mama... why was she just running and running away, fast? They couldn't go that fast. She looked first at Ami and then at Ama for direction, or a hint. Yeah, she was the only girl; why should she think for herself when she had two other brains to use before she wasted her own brainpower?
