Amani looked to the clouds, as if searching for strength, courage, anything.
"You... never really told me where you went or... what you did while you were gone," she finally got out, still looking up at the bright sky. It felt so... wrong saying this. It was as if she was accusing him of something. Well, she technically was, but she didn't really care. She just wanted him to be open with her. That's all she wanted. Would he hate her for that?

"I came to see Asi, you know that." He smiled and licked at her.
"I better get going my dear, I need to go and find someone." He smiled at her and nuzzled her slightly. An easy way out of a bad situation.

"Oh, that's right, you did," Amani replied, leaning into the lick. A part of her still wondered if he had done more than just visit Asi, but she wasn't going to push it. Not now.
"Good luck finding that someone, love," she wished him luck as he nuzzled her. She settled down, watching him go as she closed her eyes slightly, letting her thoughts wander as she smiled on the outside.
