Enterei was thin himself but looked bigger because of the muscle he built up from the trainign he did. although heavly muscle, he was surpisingly fast and agile for his build. flicking his wet tail, he laid down next to his cloak after another ruffle of his wings. noticing she was looking at him , he eyed her a moment. of course he noticed her look at him while he had gotten out but ignored that and let his wings slid away from his sides as he lad ther so they could dry, since wet wings where of no use to him if he couldn't fly with them when wet.

Remaining immobile, Ladius continued to watch Entreri for a few more minutes, but when he laid down on the ground she sighed, quickly coming to the conclusion that this was getting old fast. She was no giggling filly to lie around and eyeball stallions all day, after all, and that was enough to remind her that she'd been lying around enough.
Flicking back her mane, she rose to her feet with ease, glancing over at the stallion once again. "So, am I to assume from your words that today was a flight day?"

" pretty much and seems you went and decide to relax a bit after trainin i take it."Entreri stayed put and didn't feel the need to get up at the moment though pretty much his wings where still wet and they needed to dry out. giving a snort, he figured once his body was dry enough he could then put his cloak back on then go run to dry the rest of the way.

"Something like that. What can I say, these days it seems like I've got to grab it where I can."
Shrugging her shoulders, the mare walked over to the edge of the spring, then leaned over and dragged a plump red apple out of the water. Or rather, out of the basket she'd sunk under the cold water to keep the fruit crisp. Crunching into the fruit, she stepped back away from the water and focused her attention on eating for a few moments, then turned her attention back to the stallion. "So, is flight an exercise of yours as well, or is this a day off for you?"

" that is indeed true." Entreri let his eyes close a moment while waitign for her to finish off her apple she had grabbed from the edge of the spring which was hidden fairly well since it was under the water. when she spoke again he opened an eye to look at her. " i wouldn't call it a day off, just a light excerise day, and i do both ground and air excercises since it would be stupid to favor flying or walking." rising to his feet and opening his eyes completely, he snapped opened his wings to see if they where still too wet to fly with.

"Not necessarily stupid; one might argue that extra time spent honing one skill would make that one skill far more useful than either skill would be trained up seperately. Of course, having an escape method if something happened to the main means of locomotion is more practical." Not that she had much of an option in the matter; having been born as a regular, unwinged Soquili, Ladius had thrown her attentions into making her one available means of getting around as tough as possible; consequently, she was fast and nimble on her feet. A fact that honestly worked to her advantage, given her small size compared to most of her opponents...

" ah that is true but it's better to train both wings and legs if you have them so you could use them to your advantage that is if your fighter since i could say most wind i have met favor their wings since they love the skys." Entreri was always thinking a step ahead, always thinking of how to keep his skills sharp or make new ones. so it wasn't a surprise that he would train both body and wings and use that to his advantage in battle if he where to get into one which he wouldn't unless he had to since he hates unneeded fights that he thinks are. replacing his wings to his side, he figured he should get his cloak back on which was alwas an annoyance to put back on.

Ladius raised a brow, a bit amused at what Entreri had just said. Or rather, what he'd just repeated, at least to a certain degree. One thing she had to say about this stallion, he didn't believe in wasting words. Or anything else, for that matter.
Tilting her head to one side, she regarded the stallion once again, then started around the side of the pond. "Nice blank stare you've got there. Expecting the cape to fly up and hit you?"

Entreri shook his head and almost rolled his eyes but didn't. he did hate repeatign himself but only did so if he wanted to make a point and wouldn't waste words or his breath. " no i'm not." snorting, he then moved the cloak about this way and that til it was stretched out which was hard since it also hada blet contected to it in the front which kept it anoud his neck. the tricky part now was keepign hsi horn from ripping the cloak as he lifted the section of the cloak where his head went threw and postistioned himself to where the cloak would be easy to pull onto his back. lightly tossing his head, the cloak fell down his neck and now the only thing left was to twist it about so it laid across his back and not to the side of him. one wing under the cloak, he opened it and turned his head the opposit disrection and tugged on the part of the cloak he could to get it across his back. to his this was a annoying task and sometimes wondered why he bothered with it but then he rarely would ever take it off.

"Well, whatever. Still amusing." And it was, as evidenced by the slight smirk that curled Ladius' lips as the mare sauntered up to and past the stallion. She hadn't been sure that he was going to be successful with that little cape-replacing manuever, had actually walked over that way to assist if necessary, but obviously that hadn't been necessary. Though it WOULD have been ridiculous to assume that he'd wear the thing if he couldn't deal with it.
But at any rate, assistance hadn't been needed. And if that was the case, then she really had no reason to be on this side of the water anyway, and could head back over to her side. She could do with another apple.

Entreri gave one last tug and ruffled his wings to make sure the cloak was not in the way. he then noticed she was near him but then walked over back to where she had been. if she had actualy tried to help, he would have snapped at her and tell her he needed no help since he never allowed anyone to give him help unless it was to get information he need. " Amusing to you maybe, to me to at all." ruffling his feathers again, he went over to the water to grab a drink.

He certainly seemed to be very talkative today, didn't he? Reaching the other side of the pond, Ladius snagged another apple out of the submerged basket, crunching into the tart fruit with no small bit of thoughtfulness.
But that thoughtfulness didn't last that long, no longer than it took to crunch through the apple. This was her day to herself, after all, and damned if she was going to waste it. "It's been a pleasure as always, Artemis Entreri, but I should see about getting back to work."

Entreri nodded to her after he was done drinking. " i better be off myself." giving his slight bow, he didn't fly off, only too off at a brisk walk that would eventualy lead to a run. it had been a somewhat interesting meeting but then they where to alike to really talk much or anything but there was a bg difference in the two though it was hard to see it.
