Lilith nodded to mother. Besides she was sure father wouldn’t let anything happen to them anyway. Lilith picked up on Kali’s rambling and nudged her sister “psst” she whispered, “You are rambling again.” She looked up toward their father were would he take them? Any place special? Was there for some one they never saw. So many questions popped into her head all at once.
“Why don’t you come see us during the day?” she managed to ask her father. She constantly remembered seeing his dark figure looming over them protectively during the night. It was strange mother absolutely hated him yet he did come around quite often to watch them. She wondered if mother even knew about it.
Lilith took one last look to her mother and thought to her ‘don’t worry.’ Even though father claimed to be emotionless Lilith was sure that some were he cared for them a lot not to let anything happen to the two sisters.
Velg’larn wasn’t quite sure how this had happened. Were would he take them? His daughters were so keen on coming with him yet he had never spoken to them. And they thought so highly of him when he was sure Storm pounded into their heads that he was to be hated.
Her last comment came in loud and clear as she had enforced it. He mentally informed he seer he would not let any harm come to them. It was true some were inside him he had grown attached to the fillies he had sired.
Velg’larn began to walk knowing the fillies would follow.
The question caught him off his guard. How should he answer? He never would be good at this father thing. “Your mother protects you during the day while I do a night” he reasoned his voice had softened.

Kali smacked her lips together but quieted down when Lilith nudged her, grinning all the while. Kali didn't believe mother hated Velg'larn at all. She just thought she was so madly in love with him she couldn't bear it herself, or didn't want to fall for a heartless prune, because that's what father was, right? Well, it didn't really matter what he was now, Kali was going to love the love right out of him.
"That's bullshit!" Kali piped, retorting father's answer. "Mother guards us all the time. You just don't like how happy the day is, people can see you." Had Storm heard, she might have gone into a tyrade about Kali's demeanor. At the moment the Nequus was free to rant.
"I think your taking us somewhere special," Kali added, whether she really thought it was true or not. "Because secretly, your mad that we might love mom better than you, and you want to make up for us with an adventure!" She grinned innocently and bounded ahead, making a few loops around some trees.
"So where are you taking us?"

“So young and already you have your mothers mouth.” What was he supposed to do? This was really one of the few times he had spent with them. Velg’larn stayed with them at their birth but then began to watch the only from shadow and darkness. “Would you like it if I came during the day then?” he questioned his voice unwavering. He ignored the mouth on Kali; Storm could deal with that latter.
Velg’larn listened to Kali as she went on and on about the fact he was taking them somewhere. He hadn’t even thought about were to take them, which was rather a problem. Velg’larn needed to come up with an idea fast and not dangerous, else Storm would probably have his head not that it mattered.
“The ocean” he said “It that suitable for one of your adventures?” he continued on watching her loop about some trees. She was quite energetic.
"I'd at least like to ee you during the day" Lilith replied to her father.
Lilith followed beside her father. Lilith grinned and thought there she goes again. “Wait for me” she called after kali speeding up to follow.
“The ocean?” she hadn’t been there before. Was it a nice place? Lilith wondered. Was it nice there? She would see when she got there she figured, it was such a lovely day.
