Clown-Love how can you give a bio on slipknot and not mention kun nog???? or the fact that corey was forced into singin... kun nong the original guitarist for slipknot quit after three or four practices, and corey was working in a porn shop and was singing while he was stocking shelves and the rest of the band who was browsing the aisles heard him and said that if he didn't song for thier band that they would kick his a**... how can you leave that out?????????> Because the fact is that those incidents are completely irrevilant and don't really have anything to do with the band.

they dont have anything to do with the band!!!! are you serious they are the original members and it is irrelevent what are you completely brain dead?????? I mean this is the story about the band I know more about slipknot than you do appearently or I just care more one...... I can't beleive that you are not telling the whole story and if you are not going to tell the whole story than you at least need to get the forming of the band where the members came from..... thats it go and talk about this and the sic slipknot guild and we will see where you stand with the slipknot fans.......

Dude... no one even remember's him and the fact that he spent such a short time in the band makes him irrelevant. It's like when Marilyn Manson had a drum-machine for a drummer. FLK has a good point.

IN the words of Corey Taylor as he explained in an interview to FUSE: Corey Taylor The meaning behind the term "(sic)" doesn't mean sickness or anything like that but rather is the emotion and feelings you get when you listen to our music. That weird and powerful feeling you get that makes you say "Yo that's (sic) dude!!!". It's basically a replacement word for awesome or kick a** but summed up into one single term, "(sic)".

So sic means.....Said. In. Context... What you just described was the original meaning when Anders Coselfini was the lead singer. The meaning of the term changed when the actual song came out.

Wrong. The song known as SlipKnoT became Eyeless not (Sic). The song (Sic) on their self titled album is something Corey was in the process of writing when they were recording Crowz.

This is a rewritten, re-recorded version of a song from their self-released CD Mate, Feed, Kill, Repeat. The original track was simply called "Slipknot".
(sic) is a literary term which stands for "said in context" and is used to represent something that an author knows is wrong, but includes it in the writing anyway. Lead singer Corey Taylor is a fan of Author Edgar Allen Poe's work, who would use the term a lot.
The sample at the start, "Pick up the Pain," was taken from the film Carlito's Way, it occurs just as Al Pacino runs into an empty room after fleeing to the toilets, the scene is actually quite uneventful. (thanks, Nick - Paramus, NJ, for all above) The part about corey is partially wrong it was actually anders who wrote the song,... but whatever...
