Tinks eye snapped open snapping her out of her state of mind. She looked up with him with worry and grief. "What is it Yume?" she said his seriousness reflecting onto her emotions. She looked into his deep doe eyes and waited for a reply.

Yume sighed again and looked away from her, a deep sadness hanging over him. "Tink...one of my family members has gone missing...and I have to go after him. I will be leaving very soon and..." He took in a deep breath. "...and I don't know when I'll be back." He continued to look away from her as he awaited her respons.
((Ghaa! Sorry! My mum was freaking out because my honors marks were slipping by like..2. XD))

Tink just stared at Yume. Her face was like stone, no feelings were shown. She looked at him and tears stared fogging her vision as they ran down her cheek.
"Why" was the only word that came out of her mouth. She didn't know what else to say.

Yume looked back at Tink and wiped her tears away with his thumb. "Tink...someone very close to me could be in alot of danger. I have to do this, for my family..." He hugged the girl close and stroked her hair. "I promise I'll come back to you, Tink. I don't know when, but I will."

A tear came down her face. "I hate to say this Yume, but if...if you're gone to long..." she sobbed unable to say what she needed to tell him. She wiped away her tears with her hand and looked away from Yume. "I might...get distant from you." sadness filled her tone and she became quiet. "I just dont know what will happen to...our relationship."

Yume smiled sadly and took her hand, pulling her back close to him. "That's all the more reason for me to be as quick as I possibly can." He thought for a moment before stroking her hair to try and comfort her. "Tink, the last thing I want to do is lose you, I don't want to lose anyone, but if I get back...and you don't love me anymore...I want you to do what makes you happy. Don't force yourself to wait for me." He closed his eyes and held back tears.

Tink couldn't tell the future so she didn't know what would happen. She gave a sob on Yume's chest. She didn't want to say something that might be a lie. So she just cried silently. Her night didn't turn out as she had expected.

Yume sighed and burried his face in tink's hair, not sure of what to say. When he felt something hurt his chest he pulled away from Tink a little bit and saw that his necklace was poking at him.
...his necklace. Kai had given it to him before he had left, and it had always brought Yume some comfort. He pulled it off of his neck and set it down in Tink's hand, closing her fingers over it.
The necklace was simple, a large, deep blue tears shaped gem held by a simple, worn black string.
He looked into her eyes and smiled. "This necklace was given to me by the one I'm going after. He used to say that there was a star captured inside of it, because the center of it always shined with a mysterious light. It always brought me comfort...I hope it will do the same for you."

Tink smiled and put it on. She felt warm and comforted by it when its cold surface touched her skin, but turned warm instantly. She hugged him and laid her head upon his chest listening to his familiar heart beat. She looked up at him with a dull look in her eyes, "I hope you find who you are looking for."

Yume sighed and wrapped his arms around her. "...so do I." He then smiled to her and touched his hand gently against the necklace. "If you ever doubt that I'm coming back, just remember that I am coming back for this." He said with a wink. "And for you." He lowered his face to hers and let his lips rest, hovering just above hers. "I'm sorry to ruin your night." he apologised, before gently pressing his lips against hers.
