Yes, exactly! The first time it happened I was completely shocked. Once it happened for the second time (last night -.-) I just tried not to flail around like my eye was burning out of the socket.

I, too, have had the pain of getting toothpaste in my eye. Unfortunately mine was cinnamon-y so that really didn't help the sensation at ALL. I told my boyfriend and he was like, "How is that even possible?"
