Clearing his throat slightly, Vexen carefully considered his next words. Sefi clearly wasn't the type to blindly follow anyone or anything. At this stage in the game, subtlety and tact were needed.

"We wanted to find others like ourselves," he began smoothly. "There aren't really that many... hrmmm.. let us say strong Nobodies in existence. Others in ourranks expressed a desire to see if we could discover more like ourselves, Zexion mentioned you and we came here to meet and speak with you."

There, simple, to the point and including enough truth to hopefully put the youth somewhat more at ease. Better at this junction to not mention their intention to essentially gang press him into service. Let Saix handle that small detail. The ensuing clash would be entertainign at least.

Lexaeus didn't reply to Zexion, but he did incline his head just enough to let the smaller one know he had acknowledged his words. This friend of Zexion's was suspicious, but he wouldn't be able to ease that suspicion better than his companions since subtle and convincing wasn't his thing. His few words would have relied entirely on the weight of their honestly to convince.

"What Vexen said" Leave it to the scientist to get right down to the point and not let him try to say it sneakier. Though that was probably for the best since Sefirex knew his tricks pretty well by now.

"We are looking for more like us and you are like us." He'd told Sefirex that already once or twice

Sefi let the hint of a smirk appear on his maw. This was just...far too amusing. Something in the back of his head was saying that under normal circumstances only Zexion would have come to him with this...for the small one to bring friends, something had to be up.

"Riiiight...so if you guys are so...strong, just why is it you're searching for more? Something happened, didn't it?"

Sefirex, despite his love of jumping into fights, was by no means stupid. He did, on occasion, have the ability to restrain himself and actually analyze a situation.

Keeping his face and eyes completely expressionless, Vexen studied the youth. No, not stupid at all. Brash, yes, wary, oh my word, yes. But they'd never be able to outright trick him.

"Nobodies strong enough to retain 99.9% of their original form have never been particularly plentiful," he explained slowly, almost as if the words physically hurt. "I've only ever know of 13 who managed to fall into that rather elite category. You're speaking to three of them and two of them have ceased to exist on any plane."

The scientist took a breath and shook his head, as if banishing unpleasant thoughts.

"You can understand, I would hope, why we would want to find others like ourselves considering the odds adn statistics involved?"

Lexaeus would have shown some mild amusement if he had been in the habit of expressing himself. He was pleased their newest recruit was no fool, even if he was stepping close to the line between simply asking questions and outright implying a weakness to their strength. Still, that little issue didn't concern him, since this one would be one of them in the end.

He walked around Sefirex and leaned on his shoulder. "Something happened and two of our ranks lost themselves to the darkness" He didn't have any problem speaking about their fallen comrades. They were gone so what was it to him?

"So that leaves the door open for more and who better than you? Strong, smart, thirsty for something entertaining to do. It's a good opportunity." Sefirex would see through his words in seconds but he could still say them. Even if his companion knew better than to fall for his tricks he still listened to him occasionally.

Sefirex remained silent during Vexen's explanation, carefully listening to each word. As Zexion leaned against him, the scarred one gave a purr. Well...the idea of joining them was at least interesting. As the schemer said, it'd be something entertaining to do. Yes, he had learned to closely examine anything Zexion said, but the opportunity for fun was still there.

"I get the feeling this is to amuse both myself, and you guys as well...but still it does sound promising..."

Purring again, Sefi reached up to try and poke at Zexion's hair.

Allowing himself a small, dry smile, Vexen gave Sefi a nod. Not, perhaps the way he would have looked at it, but the logic was fairly sound. And wouldn't Saix be amused. Why, it would almost be worth selling tickets and taking bets for.

"I hope you'll forgive me when I say that I feel more relief than amusement at the moment? It is... comforting to know that there are others like us in the world."

Silent appraisal was one of Lexaeus' strong points, and he quickly noted that this one seemed easily distracted, at least on the surface. He stood still and waited for the soon-to-be member to just accept the offer, he was starting to head in the right direction, and it would be easier to talk him into it than use brute force to bully him. Being the brute in question, Lexaeus would only object in that such a tactic would hinder relations in the future.

He nipped at Sefirex fingers before his tongue slid across the other's wrist. "Later." He grinned as he stepped away from the other and toward his friends.

"Later at the Castle." He knew Sefirex would come with them. The other's curisouty would get the better of him and besides he didn't have anything better to do. "On those big soft black beds i was telling you about"

Sefirex purred, quickly moving to follow after Zexion as he moved away. He didn't need any more convincing. The idea of this Organization alone was enough to catch his interest. Zexion's mention of the black beds was the final bait to lure him in.

"Well, lead on."

Sefi shrugged, as if following them wasn't really exciting but just something to do to pass the time.

Quirking an eyebrow slightly at Zexion's behaviour, Vexen made a silent note to transfer his own bedroom into the library and make sure the place was soundproofed. Surely Zexion had not been so... wanton before? Come to think on it, between Luxord and Demyx and now Zexion and Sefi, he was convinced that spending the rest of his oddly extended life safely ensconced amongst his records and books might not be such a bad thing after all.

Shaking his head, he looked to Zexion.

"Can you sniff out any others while we're out? I'm honestly at a loss how to clinically determine the whereabouts of other Nobodies."

Unlike Vexen, Lexaeus was unphased by the display. If things got noisy he would learn to ignore it. It was as simple as that.

After Vexen's question, he also turned his hard gaze towards Zexion. Logically he was the best for searching for another nobody as strong as they were, it could be near impossible to find a second one on the loose without some hint as to where one could be found. If there was even another one out there to be found.

He crossed his arms over his chest and tilted his head back to sniff at the air. "There's something cold ... something that's not Vexen." he looked at the scientist. "My guess is that is our other. I'm too far away to figure out anything more than that."

He looked at Lexaeus and then Vexen. "I can't do everything. You're the brains of the operation."
