The Last Lord of Time So awesome! I might visit there xd I wonder if they did use Splot as Splot and not somewhere else in rural Cardiff for it! I wanna run around that little park thing they chased Bernie Harris around. Me too. O.O We could play tag. Or not.

Splot. Sounds almost as good as Slough!
Hm....I don't think the residents of Splot would appreciate the Gay Pride festivities! (Great festival in Brighton, despite having a bag full of free condoms and pens on my way home!)

you get free condoms XD I dont see why they sell them if you can just go to a Sexual Health Clinic and they give them away xd

Seriously though, it's scary being handed banana condoms by a 6.7ft drag queen.

Well, at school, in year 9, someone brought in LOADS of condoms, and blew them up to balloons and they were playing with them in German XD

We used to have to practice putting condoms on fake penises. The they'd tell us not to have sex.
Our PSE lessons made NO sense.

I've never really been told or shown how to put a condom on xd Although I know it goes n****e side up and you roll it down xd

only I go to an all girls' school so not quite sure how that worked out...
It was rather embarrasing.
Our PSHE lessons make no sense either.
Anyway- moving on from this conversation
and going back to the topic:
Why not Cardiff?!
I love Cardiff- go there loads cos I have some friends who live there.
I think RTD is Welsh, and they wanted a bit of that in it.
Obviously there's the Rift in Time and Space thing,
and then there's the fact the DW and TW studios
are in Cardiff so might as well
make the most of the City and set it there
and do some on Location filming!

Our PSE lessons made NO sense. We had, and I quote, a 'health fair' in year 10. ******** odd. So glad the teachers weren't the one trying to teach us stuff, I might have laughed until my head exploded. Basically amongst all the crap about eating well, exercising and not taking drugs they gave us condoms and these books on safe sex.
The condoms were used as balloons and the books were read when we were meant to be doing class work and my class all hounded our teacher asking her questions about sex XD
I did learn a handy tip though, if you are ever at a bar or club and need to tie your hair back but dont have a tie go to the bathroom, buy an unlubricated condom from the machine (we have machines, dont know about the rest of the world) leave it rolled up, tear a hole in the end and use it as a hair tie.
I'm yet to put it into practice because it weirds me out a little, but I'm sure it will come in useful one day surprised

i think its just because thats the place that doctor who and torchwood are produced at and its easier to film locally!
