weddingsakura Well how about a rule? You gotta post the word in white font. In the update (word changes everyday) If you don't type it your vote doesn't count. Like this XD Or maybe a white link to the word? To prove the person actually took time. People would just highlight the update and vote.

...gah. This resolution not to curse is hard. mad D
HirunHikari

HirunHikari And on your first idea, I wasn't thinking something THAT extreme. XD A while back, I had an idea where in order to vote for someone, you'd have to explain how that person pertains to the clue to vote them, but that seems more like doing work than playing a game. Then again... In clue, you need a reason to prove W killed X with Y in the Z. Or else they're free.
Hrm.
HirunHikari
Yeah, but people could make up bullshit reasons as to why the person they were accusing fit the clue... x-x And people could just copy and paste the first voter's reason onto their post, rendering the measure useless. D:

Blech.
I have ideas for a Neo Sniper Game. I'd write them up, and propose them, but 100k says I'll be shot down like DeGei. And if everyone approves my idea, then DeGei will flip out and we'll have an entire feud about "Why did you accept his ideas when you wouldn't even consider mine!?" thread.
God we are such Drama Lamas. >3>; (I really hate that phrase.)

Doesn't it suck that there's always some flaw in everything, no matter how good it is? sweatdrop
Just saying that in general, not at any one idea.

••♥♥••How would people feel about having more than one ck? There could be a group of three killers.. who know who each other are. A little bit more like the game Mafia.
So you'd have the three killers, and then the sniper, who wouldn't know who anyone else in the game was.
That way you could have some help scheming, and there's the added dimension that one of your fellow killers could betray you.
The CK's could act in unison, or each kill one person a round, making it easier for the killers to win the game. 3nodding Wallflower...

I like this thread.
Basically each round we'd elect a GM. They'd change things. Everyone would b***h and moan. This thread allows us to see what people want ahead of time, and creates a grand consensus. This way we don't get suprised with what happens, here's what we want, and how we want it.

Bellecat I have two good ideas.... ... the first being if over twenty people vote for one of the first votes for no reason other than they can, nobody is jailed that round/the offending voters immediately go inactive... which is evil, but a very good deterrent to blind voting. ^^ The second good idea is removing the bit at the bottom saying the sniped, killed, inactive, and jailed people, and just putting the update up so that people HAVE TO read the updates to know what the ******** is going on. ^^ I actually proposed a similar idea to Nymphie... making it so if more than 33% of the voters voted the same person for the first 6-10 rounds then that person would be automatically safe from jail that round and the next highest voted for person would be trussed up and tossed in the clinker. This way you can still sheep someone, but you have to actually work at it, convincing others and directing things so that you don't surpass 33% of voting.

Something that I didn't have that I think future GMs SHOULd have is some freedom to shock people. SOmething I was very tempted to do, for no particular reason, was to have the sniper kill two people at once. You know, just to make people go "Ah, I se-HOWAAH?"
But Dukes would make a thread about how retarded I was, and the oldbies with band together to make sure I never have any part in any game ever again. I'm sure none of the newer players (Those being ones that joined after game VII) would complain.
But then, that's the game in a nutshell. Oldbies whine, newbies just go with the flow.
Anyways, so I think the GMs in the future should be allowed to pull a rabbit or two from a hat. You know, to shake things up every once in awhile.

Does anyone from game two remember page 666? Where Zae would write something for us to do, put in our sigs (like put our hiding places in our sigs), and then she incorporated that into the story updates.

I had an idea....since I have rollerderby on the brain, I was thinking of trying to write a game and group everyone into opposing derby teams, referrees, announcers, audience members and concession stand workers. they'd all have a little different things they could do, like the refs could negate a jailing if they wished, and rollergirls(and guys, if they want to wear a skirt) could "force" a kill.

system malfunction more innovations, less bitching
I'd personally like to invole the players in the story a bit more, and have ways to effect the outcome outside of just voting/killing/protecting/etc OH MY GOSH YESH. AGGRED. Just WRITING a kill isn't enough. I'd say to start personalizing the updates a wittle itty bit. Instead of just making a kill creative, make it a bit more than just a kill. Try to make it special-er (I'm not sure just how yet, but it seems to be getting repitious here.) Use more bolds etc, since they catch the eye and make the update more attention-grabbing. Maybe actually hide the clue in the update. That way people would actually have to speculate. Isn't that what the game's all about?

The people who are jailed should wear jail clothes and people killed ghost sheets. I mean, you wouldn't force them, as in flame them if they didn't, but... Yeah.
I was also thinking something along the lines of two news reporters. Only, one gets the real clues and the other gets fake, and neither one even knows if they're getting the real clue or not. That'd add an element to the game. Like in past games when people have tried to be fake newsreporters, only they wouldn't know, making us actually thinking twice about the clues we got.
