Spice smiled as she listened and glanced over to the blue wind stallion. She felt rather bad for him hearing he had had bad experiences with the opposite sex. She thought for a moment a she turned back to Kildegard listening. Nothing really interesting had happened to her but there was something’s she was sure. After being silent for thinking she began to finally speak in her gentle tone.
" Well not really, A few days after i met you i met another stallion, he's really nice. It seems like I've only been meeting stallions, I’m starting to wonder if mares truly exist here"
She laughed jokingly. With all the stallions she had met she did wonder what happened to all the mares. Perhaps they where all hiding or something.. or maybe the stallions just outnumbered the mares. What ever the case Spice wasn’t complaining because she had met many interesting Soquili so far.

Another stallion? Well, that seemed to be the thing these days. Kildegard himself had met another stallion shortly before making his way home again...or rather, he'd come up on another stallion in the middle of a snowball fight with his familiar, been hit in the face with a snowball, and THEN met the other stallion. Bliss was an interesting guy, alright...
But really, Spice's theory seemed to hold water! "No kidding. The only mares aside of you that I've met are my herdmate Elizabeth and my herdmate Safi's daughter...who's still a basket. Maybe this region is just more heavily populated with stallions?"
A valid comment...but if that was the case, then where were the foals coming from? He doubted that one or two mares could handle that sort of procreative responsibility, so... "Maybe they're all just anti-social?"

Spice laughed, glad she wasn’t the only one meeting just stallions as of late. She listened and laughed again at his comment. She looked around, side to side, and still nothing. She shook her head.
" You would think that they would be, after all most mares are just bags of hot air and love to gossip... well that’s what I have gathered any way."
She laughed a bit at her last comment. She tried not to be the ideal mare in those terms so she really never did any of the things a mare was usually thought to do. She smiled gently to Kildegard.
" Well that’s what I gathered from being around a few mares a long time ago.. they kind of scared me off with their non-sense... But what can you do. So other then that We should look for them sometime. Maybe find you a nice mare"

Kildegard's mouth twitched again. The whole idea of marekind as gossipy and snide was amusing, if a little off; from what he'd heard of his herdmate Ladius, that mare would likely rip the throat out of anyone who made such an accustion of her; and having met his herdmate Elizabeth, he found himself strongly doubting that she would ever embrace such behavior. But before he'd come to this place, he'd been around mares enough to know that they could act in just the fashion Spice was saying...but then, so could stallions.
"Maybe so, but I happen to know that being ridiculous is not constrained to mares; some stallions can be pretty nonsensical when the moods takes them as well. And who says that I WANT to find a nice mare?"
The look that he gave Spice was both teasing and challenging, surprised and amused as he was at her sudden comment. "You've met me twice, and already trying to matchmake me to a stranger? I'm appalled."

" Ohh I wouldn’t doubt that stallions can be like that too. Its annoying in both cases though"
She laughed and then frowned in a teasing manner As Kildegard finished. She stuck her tongue out full heartedly tingly is her jokingly gesture and laughed . Her face took on a sly demeanor and she smiled.
" Ohh but isn’t that how it always is? You find a mare, and run into her more then once she gets these powers you see. And Kildegard, to you every one would be a stranger. Ill find a mare and watch you have actually run into her five times but didn’t notice it because you where Zoned out and she had no way of knowing how to get you out of it."
In enduring her teasing rant she nipped a pit at his forelock and smiled. Her tail flicked in amusement and her eyes glistened all sparkling like a soft green sea of lush spring grass.

As Spice first stuck out her tongue and then nipped at his mane, Kildegard laughed and danced away. "You poke that tongue of yours out far too much than is proper, Spice; if you're not careful, someone might take it into their head to remove it and save you the trouble. So think about that before you go attacking poor innocent Soquilis!"
His black eyes were dancing with amusement as he spoke, daring her to accuse him of excessive martyrdom. Of course, he'd never claimed to be that innocent Soquili, and how could he? He wasn't that innocent, after all.
But he managed to play that card a little bit longer, giving her a look that he felt to be suitably wounded at her rather blunt analysis of a circumstance that he had actually undoubtably had happen before. "Well, I think that you may have been beaten to the punch in that, Spice; I'm sure if you look hard enough, there's bound to be a few dozen such females around." If it wasn't for the glint in his eye, one might actually assume he was serious, but he was long past worrying about what happened when he was zoned.

" Ohh I shall have to wait for that day, as I don’t see anything close to innocent that I have attacked around here"
She laughed and her eyes sparkled with delight. There weren’t to many Soquili you could actually joke with around these parts and so it was always a treat to run into one. She danced like a young filly around him, prancing before she stopped in front of him again. Giving A disappointed and playful look back she stated,
" Ohh well poo, where’s the fun in that then. You sucked the life right out of that one Kildegard, I hope your happy"
she stuck her lip out in a sort of pouting way but deviousness was written all over her face. She smiled and then flicked her long tail out behind her in amusement at all this. Clearly any one could see that she was only jesting with him as he seemed to do so well right back.
