Awesome! I'll get it scanned ASAP then! It'll probably have to wait 'til monday or tuesday though.
It's SSA and slightly different from the one that Christina sang, to match a choir, and Altos don't have that much of a part in it.. but w/e.

That was pretty good, Minnie! I can see your point, but it's obvious you're working on it, so there's no need for me to harp on it, right? I know that I'm harsher on myself singing-wise than most people ever would be.
Once I have a free moment, I'll upload something sweatdrop I promise! Say, Minnie, what would you say to a "sing-off"? I lean towards "Reflection" but I don't want to do it if you would feel uncomfortable.
And sweetness on sweetbread! That sounds really cool! 3nodding I would show it to my choir, but our altos are rather adamant about having parts at least as difficult as the sopranos and then complaining the entire time about having such a hard part -_-

Well, the alto parts are much harder than the saprano parts in this song, as the sapranos only sing what Chirstina sang on her album. then again, alto parts are always harder :p luff on harmony!!!

I was thinking two people do the same song and...something. sweatdrop Hadn't gotten quite that far. Um..but hearing someone else singing something would help you see your own mistakes, right?
Eh, I tend to disagree, but I'm a soprano, so I've got bias. Plus, when I did sing alto for a performance, it wasn't all that difficult. I do agree with you on harmony, though - singing harmony rocks!
Oh, and thanks for the friendness!

I think it'd be awesome if we got some competitions going on with both a capella singing and singing with music. hit me up on my messengers (listed in first post) and we'll be able to work something out easier.

i recorded myself singing reflections, but then i realized how bad i thought i sounded, so i deleted it. lol
the sound off sounds fun. lol.
i am a saprano too. i sang alto a few years ago once so i know what it's like to sing both. i love singing alto because it is more of a challenge. i love singing the harmonies. i hate singing the melody all of the time. but it's fine every once in a while.

so since i didnt sing reflections. i decided to sing something else disneyish. here's me singing You'll Be In My Heart from Tarzan. I used the lyrics from the broadway musical version though, cuz thats the version i have on cd. It's accapella. i sorta mess up a word or two and at the end i start to die out cuz the phone started to ring and then my brother asked me a question. so it sounds kinda weird. and i might have changed the notes around a little. me singing you'll be in my heart

That would be great ^^, but I don't have a computer mic sweatdrop . I'll have to get one once I get work finished on the guitar (for those of you who saw that thread) and have a giant singing playing jam session

Edit: I just realized that it doesn't quite sound as good in digital.. and that it seems like I'm singing out of my nose.. which I probably was. It's a bad habit I am trying to break out of >.< Don't kill me! lucky you and your lucky sheet music..... in SSA? God I love that piece ... If I wasn't in an SATB group I'd drive the director mad till he let us do it.

It always kinda weirds me out to hear how some people think of high notes as hard to do, it's lower in my range that scares me. sweatdrop

I end up with support issues lower in my range mostly because I don't, and don't really wanna stretch it out, but I know I have too >.>

Whee, Lianna will join us!
And as for guy parts...I can sing them as long as they go no lower than about a low E or so. Ooooh, now I'm tempted to do "The Water is Wide"...
