His arm snapped out from the Elbow strike as he twisted his body around behind Snow's, the katana ripping through the back of his Cloak, like a snake moves his body slipped around pulling Snow's Left arm with him. As he rose he reach out and grabbed the Silver blade that he had dropped moments ago, sliding it to into its sheath...
Adjusting his feet he spun around with a quick jerk on Snow's arm he tightened his grip on snows arm. His free hand snapped out, striking at Snow's Spine with great force...

Ineffective. To a man that knows how to handle himself in combat, even without the use of his blades it is best not to underestimate Snow's ability to react. Being taken lightly by the simple counter Takimara had devised, Snow anchored his weight to his left leg, giving a little twist to it as he whirled around suddenly, using the grip to his advantage.
True, his hand is held in a lock by Takimara's grab. But even so, he can rotate his limbs and turn his body around, allowing him to face the attack directly while not breaking the lock immediately.
To prove that point, Snow diverted the previous slash to again, another combo - a third strike attack right to Takimara's lower left biceps.
Close to the heart.
When - or if Takimara did continue the Spine strike, with Snow now whirled along with his spin, Snow would use his left side as a buffer to soften the blow, using it at an angle so the strike wouldn't hit with full force at his chest...
And noting how the previously discarded weapon is gone, and back into Takimara's hilt, it only meant one thing.
Mind manipulation.
To thwart off the possibility of being decieved was the reason why Snow didn't break off the lock Takimara had on his arm...leaving something very subtle and unnoticeable on Takimara's hand.... Perhaps it's just the dampness on his cloak.
Perhaps not.
But with Snow keeping his magic in reserve, something is definately up... Because his lips are up in a very small smile.
(( No worries. Take your time. ))

((Ugh, I know what I want to do, but can't put it to words. Will try))
His body moved slightly as his hand adjust to Snow's twist, with a little push from the ground he lifted himself again, using Snow's Blade arm, he rose up with his hands releasing their grip from his opponent.
In doing so he pushed downwards, leaving his opponent behind as he broke free of their close combat, his body floated above the Katana as he twisted his body over touching the ground with his hands before tumbling over across the ground.
Pushing with both hands a feet he jumped again backwards high out of the AOE of the Ice Needles, (yes I remembered them being there), his clothing looking like 20 dogs had gone at it then was hung in the most Moth filled cupboard ever...
His hand slid under the tattered cloak, gripping onto the hilt of the Onyx blade. Spinning in midair, to the rotation that would speed the draw of the blade he removed it from the sheath. His hand gripped onto it tighter as he continued to spin, this was not the use of Mind Shadow from before but of something else...
Reaching the second rotation his hand snapped out as he released the blade with such force that cause it to move through the air as if it was a Shuriken, it twist and curved in its flight its spin keeping it aloft. It reached the ground and curved upwards in parallel as it flew straight at Snow, ice shattering in its path...
His feet touched the ground as the blade paralleled the ground, pushing against the ground GC pushed him forward with such speed that he now moved seconds behind the Spinning Onyx Blade. Again he reached under his cloak drawing the Silver blade now, he ran his index and fore finger across the flats retracting a thin layer of oil that coated the blades steel...
[PinWheel Blade - The skill of flicking a single blade with enough spin to cause it to continue to spin and move through the air like a Ninja Shuriken... Weakness: Cannot be caught mid flight. ]

(( And I thought you forgot about the needles. XD Well, scratch one for sneak attacks. >.>; ))
Again the dodge, again the counter. There is no end to this charade of physical might, and Snow is getting rather tired of continuing on this physical duel, when Takimara is clearly intent on using arcane methods for combat.
The field around his body glistened alive with a bright light. Raising his held katana, Snow flipped the blade so that the tip faced the ground before he impaled it with his weapon.
Upon seeing the new projectile coming his way, Snow tilted his head to the right when a blast of wind circled around his body. Instead of the force pushing outwards, the wind itself was surprisingly pushing down towards the ground, causing dust and grass to be pressed flat on contact. The projectile which Takimara threw didn't need to be countered --
It just needs to be diverted. And so it did when the wind slammed everything around Snow to the ground, causing the weapon to slash at the ground, before resting in that position in its helpless antics.
The perimeter that the wind is affecting continues to increase, making movement difficult and harsh as more force is applied to anything nearby, doubling in a minute, tripling in two minutes, so on and so forth. The blade continued to hum, hinting that the weapon itself is the catalyst for this absurd attack. Seeing that Takimara is again using Ground Control for mobility, Snow decides to do a mean and dirty trick --
But seeingt that he won't have enough time to dodge, and since the attack won't land unless he could defend himself against Takimara's GC charge, Snow raised his hand again in the air before slamming it down on his hilt, the weapon being injected further into the ground...
And causing icy spikes to rise up from the ground itself, at a decent distance for Takimara to dodge... With one situation.
The flattened grounds around his perimeter began to froze where the spikes appeared, causing everything nearby to have a slippery substance.
Most effective for those who aren't good with balance, and those who need the ground itself for maneuvers... Since Takimara has thus utilized Ground Control, even if he is able to halt himself, it would not be enough for the slippery ground to stop the opponent's momentum...
And thus, Takimara's mobile speed would be the fatal flaw when, or if he gets impaled by the spikes due to his speed.
Meanwhile, Snow would have his other hand on the other weapon, laying next to his right hip.
Sidenote -- The small damp water that Snow had left on Takimara's left hand/arm will not have any noticeable effects on Takimara until two posts later.

His opponent was catching onto his abilities, yet Snow's were still half a mystery to him. But then again, you never use your true strength straight away...
The ground beneath him was slippery but that was of little concern to him, with a never ending life that he had, battles in the ice and snow were common things with each cycle of time...
Up until this moment he had be mainly using his own skills to move and dodge Snow's actions, the use of GC was barely a fraction of its true strength, like he hadn't learned the skill ages ago, (Older then Snows age that its...)
His footing adjusted quickly to the icy ground, his stride never slipped. Ice never was a problem. Before him the ground began to rise as the Ice Spikes took form. His feet pushed down hard onto the ground cracking the ice with the pressure, then his body disappeared, completely vanished. The spikes shatter as if something had pressed hard onto them. Nogetsu appeared, he had moved past the Spike quickly with the use of GC and then pushed off them, now flying through the air straight at Snow.
But his body twisted in mid-flight, as he brought his feet down under him, touching the ground he began to slid across the ice, like a skater, the silver blade trailed behind him touching the ground every now and then acting as a rudder. Moving in close he rose his free hand to Snow's face, the thin layer of oil on his fingers rubbed together as he clicked his fingers together, the light that burst from the contact grew greatly, rivaling that of Magnesium being lit...
His body twisted around using the ice to moved in great speed, his hand wrapped around the hilt of the Onyx blade halting its vibrations, as he did so he jumped high into the air, once again leaving the Ice needles behind...
Landing softly his tattered cloak fell from his shoulder, the movement through the arctic minefield. The wounds about his arms began to close over and that on his face and legs but his chest showed something new...
Under the cloak he wore a Chest plate made of some unknown metal, that is to the surface. It bore no marks on its face the ice never penetrating its surface...

(( Tch. "Common Things"..... ))
Oh?
So Takimara isn't as naive on ice as he would've thought. But no matter; if that fact proves to be the case, then Snow cannot stay at one spot for too long if his mobile advantage is nullified. Lowering his body, he tightened his right grip on his weapon - positioned near his right hip before dashing forward, taking the initiative as well before Takimara counters successfully.
Just as Takimara rose his free hand to Snow's face, Snow already had himself pushed closer than what Takimara would've anticipated, lashing out with his left in an attempt to at least bring a blow towards the opponent's jaw - or even better, the neck. With the slippery ground as base, there is the desperate need to be concerned with, for it means that Takimara could slip with the momentum and fall onto his back.... Or somehow manage to stay up, though that would be a risky idea --
The needles which governed the perimeter around him reversed their positions inward, before going for an all-out impale right Takimara's head and arms.
His right hand already had the weapon positioned, ready to deliver a second counterblow if all the latter proves ineffective.
Especially a slash towards Takimara's ankles.
There is really no need to worry about the cheap trick with Takimara's flash-bang, for Snow himself used a combo breaker to break Takimara's intended combo before it could be processed out fully.
However, that left Snow's left side wide open to attacks... But fortunately, if Takimara does use that exposure to his advantage, it would be a bit surprising for him then if he does slash at Snow's exposure....
Sidenote - The small damp water that Snow had left on Takimara's left hand/arm will not have any noticeable effects on Takimara until one post later.

Snow's Strike hit him clean on the jaw with great strength, his body seemed to lift of the ground as the two forward movements left him flying backwards...
His body hit the ground hard, cracking the layer of ice that covered it, he continued to slide over it, his cloak becoming caught on a shard that was left of the Ice Spike the were created moments ago slowed him and spun him around. This pull on the tattered cloak ripped it from his shoulders as he pushed himself up from the ground, his body clearly in pain. Under the cloak he wore a Chest plate made of some unknown metal, that is to the surface. It bore no marks on its face the ice never penetrating its surface...
He only had seconds to react as the air around him shivered in a early response to the Ice Needles his hands pushed just as hard as his feet as he jumped backwards, rolling himself into a ball as he did so, the Ice needles impacted into the ground where he was but those he traveled through ripped his flesh...
He skidded on all fours as he landed on the ice, his hands scrapping over the ice, his body riddled with points of entry of the Ice needles, they were closing over but his face contorted slightly from the pain his body movements caused...
He lifted himself to his feet but his upper body rose very little, his hands clenched in fists, his silver blade was cast away and skidded along the ice a few meters behind him...
"Damn Hes good..." he muttered to himself as his split lip sealed over healed...

Having first thought that the blow would be evaded, Snow was surprised that the blow on the opponent's jaw connected, throwing the opponent back a considerable distance to judge. Seeing Takimara's Regen in play again, the man narrowed his eyes with discontent.
In the end the only possibility of attack would to deliver a blow that even Takimara's Regen couldn't heal in time. But for such a blow to take place...
He'll need a clean shot right at the chest, if all possible. His blade wavered at the thinking as the body began to move once more. In a quick spur of dash, Snow charged again at the opponent's current misfortune, his speed suddenly amplified by the ice sliding underneath his feet.
Using small collections of moisture which is causing the top part of the ice to be slippery, Snow was conserving his strength as he slid right towards Takimara, lowering his stance as if to slash a strong one at the opponent's left ribcage with his right blade.
But considering how the blade is still in the scabbard even if he successfully slashes, something is up with the attack. Not to mention the fact that Snow is keeping his shift in weight in check, in case Takimara tries to deliver a kick at his lower body - or to disrupt his momentum on the ice.
Then it happened.
The previous dampness which covered Takimara's arm before - a few posts back, when Takimara grabbed Snow's cloth - suddenly felt a bit stiff, the small damp water now penetrating the flesh through the body's natural absorbtion of moisture around itself... And to invade the internal organs by following the blood's supply route throughout the bloodstream, lying in wait until...
It would be three posts later that the effect would then surface -- A delay strike that would hamper the opponent's mobility and injuries significantly soon...

((Forgive me, I'm not feeling 100% right now, so my Post matches how I feel, Lousy...))
A smile shimmered across his face again, his opponent had done exactly what he had hoped for. His body twitched with anticipation, but timing was important. His opponents movements were perfect, that meant his needed to be as well, else he was dead in the water...
In the last second his body seemed to wink out of sight as he pushed against the ground, his opponents movements seemed as if he was ready for anything, but maybe not... His body reappeared just before Snow, his hands slapping against the ground holding firm on the Icy Surface, while his foot pushed upwards under Snow's defenses to his chin, the timing needed would leave Snow unable to adjust his blade enough to even retaliate to the blow...
But as he pushed against the ground, something caused his body to shiver. His left arm felt colder then anything, and it felt like it flowed through his body. Something not good was happening...

((Gaia ate my post..... crying ))
Quick step! *Note: Snow doesn't know the full term of Ground Control, so he came up with a random name for it to register in his mind.*
Even to Snow who is already in motion, the mere blink-out of the opponent's body can tell him that something is up.
His eyes darted left, then right to see if the opponent would try to dodge or avoid his dash.
But no. Instead, he was unexpectedly surprised at Takimara when he saw - -
Beneath!
It was too late to halt his motion. Even if he did, the momentary lapse where his entire body would be exposed is a very tempting target for Takimara to attack, especially with his illusive mind manipulation.
Yet... If he can't stop his own motion...who says he has to stop?
Letting his own body react in a wild move of itself, Snow suddenly twisted his entire torso halfway to the right as the kick shot towards his face - or technically, the chin. Using the motion to move his upper body away from the blow, the attack was barely dodged by hitting blank air, where Snow's head would've been had he not twisted. At the same time, his left hand shot out to grab hold of Takimara's extended leg, grabbing it firmly right near the heel.
Quick step is a method which is too much to predict. And if Quick step relies on the legs...
Then he'll sever it personally.
Using the muscles on his torso, Snow allowed his body to build a bit of potential energy before he twisted violently leftwards, bringing his blade in a right slash this time towards the opponent's ankle - thigh location, where he intends to either break the bone there...
Or completely slice his leg off.
No matter about the scabbard -- even it won't be able to stop the full blow of his slash.
Note: Two posts remaining.

((HEH, found the true name for Ground Control, Shudo-Jutsu is its Japanese name, Eastern Dialect I think, but theres also one for the Western Dialect and a Chinese too... LOL))
You would think that when his opponent gripped hard on his leg would be a problem, especially if his action was to remove it, but something about the smile on his face spoke otherwise about that...
His hands bounced off the ground in a smooth motion as he dropped to his shoulders, he himself used his strength to pull against that of his opponent. it takes a lot of strength in the legs to use GC in the methods he has so far...
'Ground Control is a method of moving from on place to another quickly, it is not Teleportation but extensive speed that creates the feel that the user has disappeared. Note that Nogetsu so far as also used it for speed boosts that would not be able to any normal strength, but that is at small percentages of the Ability, Ranging from 30-50% of its speed. In the last post it is something of 70-80% of its max...'
His free leg snapped down to the ground as the other pulled teasingly Snow's strength, it did not matter if he won or not in this battle of strength because his body itself bounced from the ground, his arms reaching upwards grappling Snow's arm that held to his leg, in doing so he twisted his body under himself as he once again lifted his body upwards above his opponents body...
The grapple of the Arm aided in twist his held leg over allowing him to right himself as he released his hands his free leg rising up higher before it snapped downward in a sudden rush...
Mind you this was in one smooth motion that it seemed that time itself slowed to many eyes, though it did not...

(( >_>; Swun bu, I think. ))
Hints of the weight shifting gave Snow the early warning that Takimara, indeed, was up to something. Even if the speed was great, his body can still feel the effect of the weight applied to his very own arm - the grapple, the high rotation over his body, and even the sensory detection of Takimara getting up.
Mind you - the ice field was still erected, giving him the advantage in detection.
Immediately he retreated, leaning his weight back and pushing off with his legs as he snapped away from Takimara's downward axe chop. His body was beginning to sweat, and his breath rather uneven as of now. Using much more energy than he would've expected, Snow had tried to go for a quick and decisive victory. Already landing many fatal blows to Takimara's body - with dismay, the damned regen is hindering his efforts rather successfully.
And even Snow himself has some limits on expending energy.
To compensate for that, Snow extended his left arm out, dews of water beginning to cluster around his body. Slowly shifting his step so that he took a uncommon kendo stance - left leg behind, right leg in front and the torso being aimed towards Takimara - the sword was held rather low, aiming 30 degrees towards the ground as he held it with both hands this time.
This time, he waited while his eyes were closed, using the cool aura around his icy field as his alternative eye method - but just giving the impression that he's resting a bit.
Unlike many opponents who get exhausted during the ordeal, the collection of dew which covered his body slowly seeped into his skin, increasing the rejuvination of his muscle response and adaptation. It was his method of recharging his energy without losses, so even when he becomes exhausted, he can regain his energy with a bit of rest from that pose.
Of course, the opponent wouldn't know what the hell he's doing, since it seems Snow has something up his sleeves.
Note: One post remaining.

His feet touch the ground softly, his knee jolting a bit but he stands strong. Flexing his hands open a closed he breathed deep, his body may regen but the energy and stamina took the normal time of a human. Snow was a great opponent, had him thinking in ways he hadn't thought before, but had him finding the most difficult moves harder. With his Ice Skills he was hard to fight for he himself had little arcane abilities, Other then the Sword skills that is. But for that he needed his blades...
He knew where they were, the silver lie a few feet away where it had fallen free from his hands a while back, and the Onyx still slept in the Icy Ground well behind him, problem was, Snow was closer to the Silver then the Onyx but if he went for the Onyx first what would happen to the second...
Looking closer at Snow his breathing was heavier then before, at least he was Human'ish, he got tired as everyone else. But that light meditation, on closer inspection, was not good his exposed skin showed little evidence of sweat or such, and his opponent manipulating the Liquids as he has, something was up there. And the cold feeling in his chest was starting to worry him...
'Well then I'll go for the strike...' he thought to himself as adjusted his footing, his hands clenched together tightly as he pushed from the ground, his body disappearing as he did so, the Silver blade disappeared as he moved himself around behind his Opponent, collection on route, he reappeared as he struck at Snow's back...
Note: FYI, There will be a combo breaker depending on your actions. This attack is only half done...

As he said before.
The ice field was still erected.
Even if Snow can't see where Takimara would land, at least he can 'feel' where Takimara can appear at. If he can't beat the opponent at speed...
Then he'll beat the opponent by reaction.
Just as the senses connected to the icy field was disrupted, Snow felt the interruption behind his back foretell him where Takimara is. His weakness is, unfortunately, usually located where his blade can't reach. Having to face many opponents many times, Snow has covered his weakness that he has no defense behind his back.
However.
This is where he compensates with his legs.
With the left already anchoring most of his weight down, it was then that Snow took a huge side step to the right, letting Takimara carry out the slash to where Snow's body was a second ago. Shifting his weight back and forth, the blade which was held rather low on both hands was swung out in a counter-clockwise strike right towards Takimara's chest - in an effort to at least force Takimara on the defensive.
If the counter can at least halt Takimara for a second or two, this is where Snow will show one of his major attack move -- Something he just thought of to fend against Takimara's Ground Control method.
Note:
As the situation proceeds smoothly, it is then that the fluid circulating within the organs of Takimara expanded suddenly, rupturing veins and major muscle tendrils starting from the arm to the left chest. Having been delayed for quite some time, the movement of Takimara's body - the ground control which relied on physical strength - all in all it helped circulate the blood within even faster, spreading the infection to major limbs and the inner organs with rapid haste.
Had the opponent kept his motion still and rather motionless, the outbreak would've been delayed for at least another two-three posts.
But with the fluid now rupturing key body parts -- the main artery, the sub vessels, and especially the organs located near the heart -- Even if Takimara has a strong ability for Regen, such massive destruction within the body won't be shrugged off so easily.
There was no need to worry about what Takimara wore for the armor - anyone can train their muscles to withstand much more damage. But can anyone train their inner organs to withstand an internal injury?
The plot thickens.

Any Radar, of any form, can be fooled... His opponents blade meet no resistance as it came in contact with his body, the blade passed through what was an after image. He had used his GC to move himself around Snow, leaving his presence, affecting his radar of ice. In truth he had pushed himself forward as Snow had moved to the side slightly, once again reappearing behind his opponent, his blade slicing towards Snow's Chest in reaction...
The sudden pain shot through his body as the cold feeling increased tenfold, his body felt like it was freezing again. His blood and this liquid of Snow's giving him great injury... His body could not regen fast enough but it had begun already. Slowly his chest began to contract as a heat inside his body began to rise his heart healing from pressure it had been dealt... The ice of the attack began to 'melt' as the heat rose faster, his body heat rising further then any human would handle, the veins began to shape themselves to the original state, his lungs relaxing with his body...
This had happened during his second GC movement, that had put him behind Snow the second time, his arms shook with his legs as the pain slowed his movement, even though he could not recover to the full extent of before he speed had decreased to that of one new to the blade, slow but still precise...
Around him the frozen droplets of water began to melt as the body heat of Nogetsu increased and began to emit outside his body, Snow would indeed feel this heat...
