Thanks for posting the link about Robert- there were a few details I didn't know about the story...
I think it's entirely possible for that doll to be possessed or charged with some evil, but it would definitely be something I would have to see for myself...
off to Key West! (better than chilly Albany!)

I gotta ask, what the hell kind of doll says such creepy/suggestive things like "here comes my body"? You'd think if you heard a doll saying twisted things like thay, you'd leave it the hell alone. o.o;;

That Robert doll story... I looked at the link given, and I REFUSE to look at any pictures of the doll. I don't know.. I just get this feeling. I'm probably just a very paranoid person, or it could because I know I'm a bit sensitive to supernatural things... I think with pictures of ghosts, or in this case, a haunted doll, there's a bit of energy in those pictures.

I am never going to look at doll in the same way again...then again I never liked dolls to begin with. I'm glad I read this thing about Robert now in the morning and in daylight. I just wish I wasn't home alone. ;_; Even my sister's barbie dolls use to scary me. They had to be kept in a box where I couldn't see them or else I wouldn't sleep. Same for my baby dolls. Another living doll story. http://www.castleofspirits.com/arabella.html

That's fascinating. I find haunted objects more appealing than haunted places, mostly because they go from place to place rather than staying in one location, and hence are easier to come by. Sometimes when I'm shopping at thrift stores or garage sales I pick our spooky looking things in the hope that it may be cursed or haunted. :]

CourtneyKae AKILLA Dolls are weird and can be pretty creepy. There's this really old and famous doll named Robert that lives in a museum down in Florida. I'm guessing some of you have heard the story behind this doll... Oh, I have heard about Robert....he creeps me out sooo much. I would watch the doctumentries on him and it freaked me out, lol. My uncle almost moved to Key West, FL but he never did. If he would have moved there and we visited I probably would have ended up visiting the museum and seen him. In a way I'm glad we didnt go, lol. I probably would have had nightmares. whee I've heard plenty of Robert. As a Florida resident not too far from there, I'd love to go visit that malevolent Robert some day. Sadly, I haven't had any time to do so or anybody interested enough to take me and accompany me. I definitely don't want to go alone!

When I was younger my mom would buy me a doll every year for chirstmas. At first it was baby bolls then it became porclin dolls. I still have all my porclin dolls though they are all in boxes. I don't like dolls and Robert really creeped me out. I hate old dolls from way back in the day. I think they look creepy.
