Elves exist. I know someone who knows one ;] Aliens exist, they may be rocks for all you know. Since life is only categorized in 'human' terms. Dragons exist, but they were not hunted out by humans. They were probably driven away to live in their own isolated area or dimension. Depends on their intellectual capability.

I know dragons exist. If they didn't then the word draipendore is messed up. Draipendore means: Reptiles, amphibians, dragons, and dinosaurs. I'm trying to make this a real word. Oh and if dragons didn't exist then where did the stories come from?

firata hmm....my theory is that maybe they do exist, but either they are hiding or maybe they have more abilities to blend in (morph, shadows, ect) and I also think that based on the enviroment, dragons have different forms. this sounds correct...yeah i bet this is right(or at least i hope so)

dont know if im too late for the discussion but here i go....
From all the stories i heard and reasearch i done... Dagons were not like your regular small brain reptile... they were honored in Eastern cultures because they were wise... and so were the western kind... They were magical creatures, with mighty knowledge... sometimes the ability to shapeshift is involved with them... They could either have change their forms to look like humans or other kind of living thing... or use their knowledge and create a dimension of their own... and are waiting for us to become smart enough and open the gap between our two worlds... humans with Dragon blood might actually exist, but due to the mixing of blood could be just have the blood and not the actual knowledge and ability of one....

Has anyone here watched Dragon World? I suggest you all do ^^ It's great at explainging all the things that don't seem right! (Like how dragons have 6 limbs and how they can be so big and still fly). I watch it very often ^^ it's like a ritual. My personal beliefs? Well, I like to think that there's some around. Possibly in hiding somewhere... but I believe that they DID exist at some time.

Wolfgang Hype My personal opinion is that some Dragon myths were inspired by dinosaurs (I'm a creationist) that survived after the global flood. Cue the hunting to extinction bit. I don't know about actual dragons existing but, I've found a site that explains them pretty scientifically: Advanced Dragon Description. However I do believe that the Leviathan exists or at least existed. I agree but I have read that most dragons adapted and turned into water creatures there explains the laviathan but as the water level decresed the grow into are drogons that we come to now today thank you

Personally I believe that dragons still exist. In my theory, dragons have obtained the ability to transform and are hiding in various forms today, and if you even looks at some you can see the resemblence. For example: Turtles: Surivived the extinction of dinousaurs and live for very long span of years, centuries, just like dragons can live for millenium. Sharks: Survived the dinos, and a major hunters. Not to mention their sixth sense which detects the small amounts of electricity that all living things give off, some believe that dragons also had this sense. Crocs and Gators: Again, survived, and their form is similar to that of a dragon's. These are just to mention a few. Also, I believe that dragons take on the form of humans and guide humans from destruction. Like those angels the help people through all sorts of things and when they turn around the angel isn't there anymore. O.o But this is just my theory. I remain open-minded though.

the strongest theory i have found is the connection between dragons and dinosaurs.
i did my senior paper on this and got xtra cred, so i did my research.
dragon litterally translates into the word dinoraur, or large scaled lizard.
The pterodactyl, commonly refered to as a dinosaur but it is not, has a similar skeletal structure to a dragon. it has also been theorized that pterodactyls were able to produce venom that burned to the touch.
There is also much evidence that showes that dinosaurs survived the "extincion" such as cave art of anatomically correct dinsaurs. and also pottery depicting dinosaurs and man together.
what i am suggesting is that there were forms of dinosaurs that evolved further than we know, and that is where we found our dragons. perhaps the mighty pterodactyl, with its wingspan of over 40 ft, evolved a second set of legs and became the dragons we know as european. the chinese dragons may have evolved from ancient sea dwelling dinosaurs, seeing as how many myths of chinese dragons involve them comming up from the ocean or other larger bodies of water.
even recently dinosaur corpses have been discovered, such as the pleciosaur (sry bout spelling) found off the coast of japan by a fisherman. and the ceolocanth (again sry) an ancient fish thought to be extinct, but now known to be roaming the waters in great numbers.
many things point to the theory of dragons existing, connecting them to dinosaurs is like finding the missing link for humans. i think dragons existed in one form or another, and today there are none or very few surviving in the uninhabited parts of the world.

Benny_killer Sickiara I think dragons are real, they just waiting for humans to wise up and stop destroying the planet to show thier faces. stare ya, so are the aliens, angels, demons, and the people who use to live in Atlantus Atlantis still exists by the way, it's where all elven blood lives. Some people seem to think that it was destroyed while on the surface, but it never was. It is now an underwater shrine to the dwindling civilization.
