Atsuko stepped out of the car, coldly observing the school. So this is the infamous Ouran Institute? She raised an eyebrow at the uniforms. Yellow dresses? I admit, I had not had very high expectations, but those who go to public schools appear better then this. A gaggle of second-year girls passed, murmuring and giggling. Atsuko began to regret agreeing to be a student--there were plenty of prestigious institutes in Japan, so why did her parents want her to come to this one?

The elegant girl looked down at her clothes--her usual wear for times off of school--and shrugged. Ouran's board could do nothing to her. She glanced at her schedule, not surprised at her classes. A bell rang, signaling the end or orientation. So she missed it--at the very least, she avoided the tedious, formal introductions, the dancing of society.

Straightening slightly, Atsuko headed towards the school. She took one more look around. Although, from what I have seen so far, I should not be expecting much.

"Nyew..."

The sound she made was almost like one that a kitten would after being woken up, but instead it was a 16 year old girl with a cat puppet on her hand. Walking up the steps of Ouran Academy was something she had been use to for the past few years she had been here, but it still didn't change the fact that she wished there was some kind of escalator instead for the morning hours. Rubbing some sleep from her eyes, the Vice-President of the Black Magic Club was feeling quite lazy this morning.

"Classes don't start for another hour, so why am I here again?"

Oh yes, she had wanted to see if any of the hosts had come early for a chance. They hadn't seemed to be around to entertain the customers as of late, which kind of made her wonder just what was going on with them. Sighing softly, she pushed open the front doors of the school and began wandering down the halls, her black cloak trailing just a little ways behind her.

Davis was walking slowly through the halls taking it all in as he smoked a ciggarette; it was his first day at Ouran and he was impressed to say the least. His mother was a famous designer and owner of the "Figure 9" clothing line; he was actually wearing a military inspired blue jacket covered in metals from "Figure 9". Money was never a problem, he had always gone to good schools. But Ouran was on another level entirely.

A lot of things were running through his head, would he make friends, where was the music room, did the school have a paper and how much trouble would he get in if he got caught smoking. Davis had yet to meet anyone but maybe if he could find a music room he could at least find someone who liked music as much as he loved playing piano. It would at least give him a reason to talk to someone.

Atsuko blended in with the shadows, knowing perfectly well that if she wanted to, she would be in the center of attention. Observing the action coldly, she singled out what had to be the new students. Some walked clumsily, dropping stuff, while others greeted friends they had not known were attending Ouran.. They all seemed like typical upper-class teens, until her eyes fell on a student smoking and out of uniform. An eyebrow was raised, before Atsuko shrugged. She wasn't wearing a uniform, either, so why should she care? Her nose wrinkled slightly at the sight of smoke--she could bear it, yes, but she disliked it greatly. He didn't seem like a second-year, though, so she doubted that she would see him again.

Jasper leaned against the bannister, staring dejectedly into the courtyard. Keru walked aimlessly across it, her hair gripped in a hand. He wanted to talk with her at all about the after school move, but it almost seemed like she was intentionally distancing herself from him. He hadn't done anything wrong, so why? Agreeing to stay with Kyouya and learn to be a host was what she wanted from the beginning, anyway...
He exhaled deeply, running a hand through his messy hair. Staring down at the elaborate stone floor, he considered confronting her before classes.

May was being dragged by Vira pretty much the whole way. The girl didn't really get a chance to speak because she was being dragged so much. She looked up and saw Vira waving to the other May, and then she sweatdropped.
