The Odyssey again won't make it any better written. Why would the Bible be any different?
BUT if you go at it with an open mind instead of narrow-minded then it might seem like a better "Story"

There is a history between Fushigi and I. Fushigi invited me to this guild to see how well I would hold up when there were a bunch of Christians beating away at my beliefs. I have done fairly well, don't you think?
