The manga's better, but I will make this one comment: I prefer shorter animes. Twenty-six episodes or shorter are ideal, though fifty-two isn't too horrid, though they do tend to drag on. An exception is Full Metal Panic, but I was laughing my head off the whole time. ALMOST the whole time, at least.
And, Alucard rocks my socks, though I kinda felt sorry for him...

Still the coolest manga and anime, although I have to say Bleach isn't too bad, but its slow, so its best if you start late and watch as many episodes as you want to get the plot in. Very bloody, quite nice.
