darkmariel the scarf in that picture isnt anything like the real scarf...its just a long scarf. fine for a one night cosplay, but, as for true scarfism......no.... Regretably true. However, I one of my uncle's friends did offer to make me a proper one. He's done a couple before, and said he should be able to give it to me when I go back down for the next Jack in the Green festival.

I don't suppose any of you would know any sites besides eBay where I could get a 6th Doctor outfit?

Twisted Davros I don't suppose any of you would know any sites besides eBay where I could get a 6th Doctor outfit? I made one for my son based on photos of the actual costume taken ata DW convention, and used a frock coat pattern. I don't klnow if anyone out there is making them, but you might try a search engine. If all else fails, get some good pictures from TV and see if you can hunt down a seamstress who can make it for you. It may cost a littlke extra, but it would be worth it. Green shoes and red spats are the hardest to find, and we just spray-painted a pair of cheap shoes and makde red spats from felt. The end result was something like this:

Ahaha, that's really awesome!!! As much as I like the 6th Doctors outfit, I think I'd rather wear the 4th. Just finding a brown trenchie and a scarf is proving rather difficult...
Nice K9, by the way! I just saw an inflatable dalek and an inflatable TARDIS in the ABC shop, but... $70 each. And I don't have a job. So I think I'll just wait until the Sonic Screwdrivers come back into stock...

Almost makes me want one. Almost.

I'm Asian so the next time I'm in a pinch for a party, I'm going to grab a white lab coat and call myself Dr. Toshiko Sato from Torchwood.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OM68uWlkoMThat's the Cyberman dancing in the park... Now seriously, I wonder where you can get your hands on a cyberman costume? I've seen plastic heads with the voice changers, but they're just fake ones for little kids, I'm talking full on cyberman outfit. I would SO go around all the time being an awesome cyberman!! Who wouldn't? Tell you what, after I complete my quest for a brown trenchie and a 4th Scarf, I'll go looking.

I hope my overly elaborate Doctor Who prank goes as well. I'm making Tom Baker costume (I generally use actors names instead of numbers) and am hoping to build a K9 out of a remote control car.

Don't have pictures but I've seen someone wear a long coat like that (not the parody) in a store and he had a very small and femine voice. It was weird ((while I was trying not to crack up anyway)).
