A waste? When he had a delectable specimen of mare cuddled quite comfortably under his wing? Heh, he could have gone a mere two inches and that would have been a worthwhile undertaking. Still, he wasn't going to mention that...yet.
"There will be something there, Chica; otherwise, it shouldn't be too hard to find an alternative food source. However, there's no such thing as a wasted trip when it is with pleasant company. In my case, at least, I feel this has been a worthwhile trip; hopefully you haven't found me to be so repulsive that you would consider this trip wasted."
That comment was puncutuated by a charming smile, one that was meant to dazzle females and usually did. It was always worth seeing how said smile was reacted to...

Zhenga gave a small nervous laugh. "No, I didn't mean as a waste with being in your company. I just meant...well...if there wasn't anything there. But you're right, if there isn't anything there's always other places to look." Smooth. She wasn't sure if she had saved herself or dug a deeper hole.
She raised her eyebrow slightly at his wink and laughed. Flicking her tail, she tapped it against his hind leg as they continued on. Zhenga could of easily have gone up and over the hill by now but she didn't want to leave her escort in the dust. That would be rude.

Ah, she didn't know what to say! How utterly adorable, especially when she, if Guilian was any sort of a judge of temperament, was no shrinking violet. If he were overly vain, he'd think that he was the cause of her flusterage. But since he was only suitably vain, he was going to play it safe. Sort of.
As the two soquilis made their way up the hill, Guilian felt the gentle touch of her tail; inadvertant or no, the light gesture acted as even more of a tigger for the VERY interested stallion. After toying around with the thought for a moment, he decided to bite the buller. After all, the hour was late! "So, Chica, what plans do you have following your meal, if I might be so bold?"

She blinked at his question. If she could scratch her head like the two leggers she would of by now. Nibbling on her bottom lip, she thought for a minute as they continued on. "I don't really have any plans. Didn't think that far ahead."
In fact she hadn't. Her mind had been to preoccupied with finding some thing to eat and then the sudden appearance of Guilian hadn't given her much time to decide what she was going to do next. "Why do you ask?" Zhenga turned her head and gave the stallion a curious look.

No one could ever accuse Guilian of being timorous...at least, not with a straight face. Tilting his head at the mare, Guilian at first simply chuckled at her question; obviously she was more innocent than he had thought; farewell, ego trip.
"Well, I was thinking that if you didn't have anything in mind for what to do with your evening...perhaps you would want to spend it with me. I had no plans either, you see, but perhaps since there are two of us without plans, we could put that lack of plans together to make a new plan...a plan that provides much more...satisfaction."
As though she couldn't guess his intentions from the stallion's husky tone of voice or the sensual look in his eye, Guilian's other wing had come around to gently stroke Zhenga's jawline, light and gentle touches to supplement his words. "If the lady is interested, of course..."

Zhenga's eyes lidded momentarily as he stroked his wing against her jawline. Her tail gave a quick flick side to side as she eyed him. Silver eyes clear as she could quite well figure out just what his intentions were. She wasn't that dense, no, not at all. The mare knew what a lot of stallions wanted.
Tilting her head slightly to the side, she gave him a slight off look. "Maybe. Depends on what you think is a plan that's more satisfactory then a no plan at all. Though I don't know if you'd be able to satisfy me. As I'm very hard to satisfy." With a slight laugh, she trotted ahead of him a bit. She to could play his game. With maybe just a bit of hard to get mixed in. Zhenga didn't plan to be caught up in some stallions whims so easily.

Some stallions might be put off at being rebuffed; however, much as Guilian might be fond of instant acquiesence, he also adored a challenge. Especially when the challenge held such promises as this one did, should he succede.
As Zhenga headed off up the hill, Guilian merely laughed, his eyes dancing with amusement at the challenge...and watching her rear as she trotted off. Definitely a nicely formed female, and worth any extra effort. "Well, I always strive for complete and utter satisfaction on all parts, Chica...you might be harder to satisfy than most, but I'm also better at satisfaction than most." Eyes glittering with a dark mixture of amusement and desire, Guilian strolled up the hill after her. "Though I fail to see why I need to clarify, when it seems like you have a good idea of what my plan is."

She laughed lightly and stopped at the top of the hill, giving her tail a few more flicks side to side. "I don't know. You might be and then you might not be. I suppose there's really only one way to find out...."
Turning around to face him as he came up the hill, she tilted her head to the side. Her braids falling along her neck as she stood there. Giving a quick ruffle of her wings, she eyed him quietly for a moment. "Maybe I just want you to say it is all. Perhaps that's it." She grinned widely as she watched him come up the hill. This was quite amusing and yet interesting all at the same time. Guilian definetly seemed interested enough, but did he have the patience to put up with her game?

Quirking one eyebrow at the mare as she stood looking down at him, Guilian found his grin widening. So, she felt like challenging him, did she? Well, obviously she didn't know that those like him THRIVED on challenges...or perhaps she did. That idea gave his blood even more fire, particularly at her last comment.
So, you want to hear me say it, is that it? Well, let me see what I can do, Chica." Topping the hill himself, Guilian suddenly stepped right up next to the mare, wrapping his wings around her and holding her right up against his body. "If I tolf you how I thought we should..." Lowering his mouth so that it was right next to one of her ears, Guilian spoke in a husky whisper of exactly what he thought they should do, something that was in essence a descriptive list before finishing with a light nibble to her oblidging ear. "Does that sound like something you could fit into your evening, Chica?"

Both her eyebrows raised as he pulled her closer to him with his wings. Her ear flicked a few times as he whispered into it before her eyes lidded slightly. As he nibbled on her ear, a slight tingle ran along her spine before she pulled out from his grasp and flicked her tail a few more times. "Really now? Hmmm, that's an interesting thought. But we'll see how it goes...and then...maybe."
She turned on her hooves, her wings spreading out half way in a flurry before she folded them back against her body. Turning her head to look over her shoulder, she looked at him with half lidded eyes. "You coming then? There's still the subject of food near the river to attend to you know."

"As you say, Chica." Still, Guilian was able to act more nonchalant than he actually felt; this mare was affecting him more pronouncedly than the others he'd spent time with lately, likely because she wasn't a blushing innocent. That didn't mean he couldn't keep his cool, though.
At her comment, he neatly tossed his curly mane, adjusting his rose with a wingtip as he sauntered down the hill, passing the mare and then jerking his head towards the river to indicate his agreeability to that suggestion. "And of course I'm coming; what kind of gentleman would I be if I abandoned you short of your goal?" Snorting at the very idea, he strolled all the way down to the edge of the icy river, eyeing it critically for a moment before energetically pawing at the snow, digging away to reveal still-green grass.

She laughed and shook her head lightly. "Not a very good gentleman that's for sure." Zhenga spread her wings out half way as she came trotting down the hill. It almost reminded her of the time long ago when she had first started learning to fly as a filly.
As she reached the bottom, she trotted towards him and watched curiously as he pawed away at the snow. The sight of still green grass brought a slight sight of relief. Well at least now she knew that there was grass here that would still be edible and that they wouldn't have to wander farther to find anything.

"True enough, but bad gentlemen aren't really gentlemen now, are they?" Chuckling, Guilian stepped back from the newly revealed grass, at first merely watching Zhenga move towards the grass. He wasn't sure whether or not he was going to have some grass himself, but having seen how little there was at this place, he decided to leave it all for her. He'd eaten recently, after all.
"Well, there's your grass for you, Chica; just like I promised." However, knowing as he did that some mares disliked being watched when they were eating, he turned and focused his attention on the river. A drink he could deal with...and went about getting by sharply cracking his hoof down on the ice and breaking a hole in it. Hooves were certainly handy in the winter!

"I suppose that's true." Zhenga gave a nod of her head in agreement. He had a good point really. Looking at the grass, she pursed her lips slightly. There wasn't much of it, but it would do until she could find some thing else at a later time.
She watched him for a moment as he turned away, curious as to why he did. Zhenga had never minded when people watched her. They seemed to do it a lot. Perhaps it was because she was pink? Had others never seen pink Soquili before? "Thank you." Lowering her head, she nipped quickly at the grass. It was cold and a bit icy but that was fine. Whatever ice that was on it also served to give her a little drink. Her ears perked slightly as she heard his hoof crack the ice, but she didn't break away from her eating until there was a slight bare spot where the grass had been.

As he lipped at the icy cold water, Guilian could hear the sound of chewing in the baskground behind him, evidence that the grass had at least found some favor with his spotted companion. He hoped it was enough, but if it wasn't they could could always wander about the riverbank for a bit and find some more grassy patches.
Only one way to find out, though. Turning around once he no longer heard chewing, Guilian gave the mare a curious look. "Was that enough for you, Chica, or do you require more?"
