That was sad, yeah...so was the ending to FFX.....FF8 had a happy ending ^^...I'd have to say that the saddest part...well I thought it was sad....was when Tifa and Cloud were in the Lifestream...that made me cry...maybe it was the effect of the music? confused Nobuo's music does that to me alot crying touching..oh so touching cry

I dunno. I'm kinda a rock when it comes to emtional stuff.
FFVII - Aeris dies
FFVIII - When Rinoa finds Squall passed out on the piece of land from nowhere after you fight Ultimecia and the game kinda ends
FFIX - Zidane leaving Garnet to help Kuja
FFX - Tidus and Yuna kissing in the lake
FFX-2 - uh... Yuna's speech to Nooj before they fight Vegnagun.

Actually, am I the only one who sees the obvious one? Has no one else bothered to beat the ORIGINAL?!?! Constantly repeating time? A loop, wherein they continue to deal with Garland and Chaos every 2000 years? Truly, that is the most depressing idea ever. Unable to stop the loop, therefore never able to make their own choices. Everything decided for them from the beginning... And yes, I realize that it was changed in the remakes.

the saddest part in FF 10 is when Tidus finds out that yuna will die after she summons the final summoning in the Al bead "Home"

I have never played a full FF game because I never could get that far!
I think that i should go play FF7 after this for days straight, and see that seen!!! because I want to cry over it!
The saddest part I have ever seen... would have to be I donno -_-'

The only Final Fantasy games I beat on my own were 8, 10, and 10-2..... mrgreen I had my brother show me the ending to FF7 and I watched Aeris's death when he got to that part.

Babbalui o_O! how!? i wanted it to be tifa, but i got Aeris! WTF! scream i wanted tifa! crying gonk Attention Mr. Babbalui, (that is something i never thought i'd hear myself say again) it was simple actually... just don't talk to aeris unless it's vital to progress through the game... once or twice is actually ok to do... but always be kind to tifa *nods* or at least as far as i know that's how i did it ^-^...

Babbalui please tell me! i really want to hear your oppinions! biggrin xp I personally thought the death of Aeris was the most depressing... crying crying crying I hated losing her! I balled my eyes out! and thats the first time ive felt such emotion for a game character! crying crying crying crying crying crying crying gonk crying same here. the only other time i've felt like that towards a computer generated image was when wolfwood died in trigun crying crying crying . sorry spoilers.

For example, don't but a flower from Aeris, and if you do, give it to Tifa and not Marlene. When Aeris asks if Tifa is your girlfriend, say yes. Take Tifa with you, not Aeris, right before going to see Cait Sith. Those are just a few examples. You can set things up to go on the date with Barret too, I just haven't bothered trying...

I also think Aerith's death was the most heart-throbbing. It tore me to bits when I was younger to watch her get stabbed. She was my favorite character after awhile. Everytime I hear her theme it just brings me to tears. :[
