She didn't want to be followed? To Liza that was pretty much an order to stay still until she was out of sight. He wasn't sure if he was releived or not. Flattening his ears against his head he nodded "yy..yu yes maa'am I'll uh..uhm..fu fu..find my ow..own way..once w..w..we are ou..out maa'am." As strange as it felt, Liza acctually didn't want to fight in any wars. Was he acctually going against a request of a female? Maybe so! It felt strange to almost want to go your own way for a change. Though if the femal;e asked him to go to war, he probably would, after all, he didn't want to face her wrath.
Grinning stupidly he stood up, his dark multi-shaded mane falling over his sleek shoulders. Though Liza was indeed a dope, he had long been trained to fight to kill even, he was an excellent hunter despite his meek demeanour.

Sukari grunted, then started to meander out of this retched desert without another word. He had slowed her down, but sped her up at the same time. Too bad I wasn't there to see the selfish old lionness die, Sukari thought angrily to herself. The tip of her tail twitched angrily.
As for Liza... If she ever needed a minion, he would have been ok, but there are plenty of other fish in the sea.

Following the lioness obediently until they reached the edge of the desert the big custard yellow fool sat on his butt. He was told not to follow any further, that was an order. Once the female was gone he would continue on his wanderings, who knew where he would end up next.

As if they had never met, Sukari carried on, through the desert, except in a different direction. She was headed more south-west, to avoid her "home" lands. She never wanted to return there for as long as she lived. She said nothing more to Liza.
Her pawprints were quickly covered up by the blowing sands.
